Happy Valentines Day!

Well I've up and done it now. I gave my husband a Heart attack!!!!

Hope he enjoys it! I also made him cookies and homemade chocolates. And splurged a little more and got him some presents and a movie he's really wanted to see that just came out. Breaking dawn.

Now the story.....he tried to wake me up at 5 this morning saying happy valentines day....i mumbled ya ya ya leave me alone....something along those lines. They he tried to kiss me(real kisses) while I was still trying to sleep. I did as he told me to do and stayed asleep. Then i walk downstairs after the kids woke me up and he had a drawing of a man knocking on a door carrying tulips and a note that says I love u and I couldn't live with out you. So sweet. I then play the rest of the day like the day doesn't matter, just another day, I dont care if he works late, I don't care if there's trucks to work on...,..whatever whatever whatever. I start a fight sort of telling him I gave up hopes of everything having a nice holiday because I work hard to do things for him that he doesn't appreciate. Ya I was mean, though that last part is true. So when he gets home in the next hour, he'll get mad cuz the garage door won't open to find his heart attack. Then he'll have to use the front door where he'll find his treats and presents then a big hug from the family. Hope the night goes well!b

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!

XOXO

Birthday and Catch-up Pictures

Well I'd like you all to meet Ian. He is my 4th baby. Devin bought me a new car for my Birthday this year! I absolutely love it and LOVE the great deal we found on it. It has so much space and drives perfect and still gets 35 mpg!!! Almost as good as the civic, but much bigger engine and space in the car! Love it!!!! It's the SE so it has the sports seats that are half leather. I love it because I didn't have to pay 3 grand extra just to get leather seats!!! We searched for a long time for a car and all the used ones were just plan crap and abused. Literally someone had their headlight hanging on with DUCT TAPE!!! Oh there's nothing wrong with it....my butt!!! Anyway it was 5 at night and we were so done with car searching so I gave in and demanded a new car lol, which he would have done from the beginning, I just didn't want to have a big payment. Oh well, we got a great deal, discounts from the dealer and because I graduated this year. So with our down payment, we owe less than we did with my 4 year old civic. How's that for a good deal!!! YAYYYYY
One of my favorite parts is the touch screen. It loads all your contacts for you phone so you can just touch who you want to call. Devin's truck won't even recognize a name if you say it. I hated it.

Emry keeps saying, hey look, mommy's cool car!
Then he says Hey Emry with mommy's cool car lol
Devin also got me my Red Kitchenaid mixer for me, since my Grandma's bit the dust and they wanted way too much to fix that old of a mixer, so I waiting until costco had it with 50 bucks off and got it. YAY! He also made me a cake at 8 at night, however he put in a cup of oil instead of water, and forgot the water all together. It didn't rise and is really thick but we're eating it lol
Emry hanging around
Showing his daddy his present for school because he pooped on the toilet all by himself. Yay for Emry!!!
Emry sure loves his sister
Shell Bells is so beautiful!
One day while working, I was headed back to the freeway from the airport, and I got stuck on the Bridge by this. It took 2o minutes for them to pass and they were totally freaked out by my truck and kept jumping off the sides of the bridge, Yes the bridge over RAILROAD TRACKS!! These animals are dumb lol. But it made for a kodak moment

Shellie Meeting Santa this Christmas
Emry Met Santa Again too!
Emry decked out in all his Cars gear!!!
Shellie with Grandma/pa Anderson
Christmas morning(really Eve morning) at our house. Emry Loved his trains around his tree

My dad got us a grill for Chrismtas, Devin was absolutely stunned and excited as you can see by the picture

Happy 2012

Well we've had a lot going on and it's been hard to keep up and keep track of everything.

I think we'll start with Thanksgiving. We had it here in Wyoming this year with Devin's family. Devin's brother Darrell and his wife Gina, stayed with us a couple night and then his Brother Doug and his wife Nini and their four kids were here a for a night so they could attend their little brother Dwight's priesthood, elder thing, I don't remember what it's called. Whatever the last thing they have to do so they can go on their mission. I dunno. We had a fun time and the kids enjoyed playing together.
We got to go shopping after Thanksgiving and got some great deals, and only got trampled a couple times. That weekend I also went to Utah for a night and ended with my neck swollen bigger than my head, so I headed into the Dr, like they told me to do to have my surgery for the thyroid cancer. Everything got taken care of and I don't want to talk about all the details but the one thing I will say is ANYTHING to do with DAVIS hospistal is absolutely dumb!!!! Don't ever ever ever ever ever go there or listen to anything they say.
So after That Holiday, it took about 3-4 days for me to be up and running, after the first day though, I felt FANTASTIC. Probably the percocet but oh man I was flying high. Then I started helping out with Fedex. It was a nice break to get away from the kids, and I learned to miss them which was great. I lost some more weight with all the running and am finally BELOW my pre pregnancy weight! Pre EMRY!!! haha I LOVE that my clothes finally fit again.
I should say the Monday after Thanksgiving is when all Hell broke lose with the family. Emry was up thee entire night throwing up. I think I did 14 load of laundry just with him. I had to clean the carpets all night long because he would literally try to run for the bathroom and get JUST past the blanket I put down to protect the carpet and throw up all over again. I finally got him asleep in the bathtub and he got about 2 hours of sleep. He had no fever so I didn't know what was wrong with him. Then at about noon, I finally gave in and took Shell''s temp(she had felt a little warm since the Sunday) It was 105!!!! We dropped everything and ran to the Dr. I walked in and there was literally NO ONE in the parking lot, and asked if the Doc could see her, she asked if she was a patient, and she said, nope were all full. WHAT THE HEck!!!!! whatever so we went into the ER and spent almost 8 hrs there. Lucking Emry's uncle came and got him so he wasn't with us tearing down the walls anymore. After they poked and tortured my baby, they decided she had pneumonia, so they sent us home with all the to do's about it. I took her in for the follow up on Friday and the Doc said, the hospital wrote up that she didn't have pneumonia. WHAT THE HECK!!!! I'm so mad at the medical community. Whatever she's finally getting better and her fever started to go down under 101.
That week was so hard, Shell was miserable and couldn't sleep unless she was on your tummy, on her tummy and just the right angle, and if you took too big of a breath she would scream bloody murder. I didn't get an ounce of sleep for 4 days. Shell then began to throw up. I still hadn't caught up the laundry from Emry. So I added even more. I think all said and done after they both stopped throwing up,(yes emry did it again a few days later, then shell, then emry again....) for about 2 weeks. Emry then came down with a 105 fever, so I took him to the Dr and he had strep throat and a UTI. It took almost 4 days for his fever to break. It scared me. They both slowly got better and shellie slowing took baby steps to sleeping next to me still holding her to sleeping next to me with out me holding her to sleeping on my bed without me to sleeping in her play pen to finally sleeping in her bed. It's taken over a month but she's finally sleeping on her own for about 10 hours a night and puts herself to sleep. Its soooo much easier than trying to console her to sleep.

Then came Christmas and we celebrated our family Christmas on Christmas Eve morning, then drove to Utah to celebrate Christmas with my mom. Emry decided to start throwing up again once we got to her house so we didn't get to go to Zoo light like I wanted to. We just spent the night cleaning carpets and doing more laundry. Joy, Merry Christmas. He didn't throw up anymore so that was good. Emry got to meet Santa Clause that night as well, He was very unsure of him, but was all about handing his sister over to the hairy man. HAHA. They were cute. Shell didn't cry any of the times she met him. Good Little Girl. We had a fantastic Christmas with way too much food and lots of fantastic presents. It was awesome to actually be able to buy presents for our family and friends(though our friends never got their $50 gift cards for the Anniversary Inn because of a rude text). Their loss.

We got our parents Gift Certificates for a gettaway. Emry got a bike from Papa Brian and Shellie got an awesome new High chair. Man that thing is like the BENTLY of all high chairs. They got tons of movies and clothes from everyone and We got Shellie the Your baby can read, Emry loves it lol. We got Emry A TV i think but changed our minds, so we returned it to get a portable TV for the car, and still haven't gotten it for him, however he got a ton more things. We were very blessed this year to be able to enjoy giving and receiving. My dad also got us a Grill! I got Devin some steaks and he's excited to cook them on the grill. Devin got me ?????????????????
I did buy myself new pots and pans in September that he keeps saying way my present even though i had to buy them because he had broken 3 of my 4 pans.....soooo......oh well. I enjoyed my kids smiles and Devin spends every free second on the fire.

Christmas Day we went down to Temple square and froze our butts off looking at the Temple lights. It was all worth is when Emry points up and says, Wow that's a HUGE tree!!! He's getting so stinking good at talking. His favorite thing to say right now is, EMRY'S IN DA HOUSE!!!! totally gangsta!!! Love it!!
After Christmas was over, I went shopping and got loads of great deals. Then the kids and I headed south To mesquite, NV to hang out with my dad for a week. We had fun and the weather was about 55 degrees. so that was a nice change from cold wind. Devin was supposed to fly in and meet us in St George the next weekend but his flight was cancelled, so I packed up the kids and drove home so we could be together for New Year's Eve. It took 10 hours to drive the 7 hour drive. Ugh kids. We made it home and I was exhausted. I crashed after the kids were in bed. Devin hugged me at midnight I guess and said I would budge for our annual Husband and wife celebration. Sorry hunny. We spent the next day cleaning up the house since I had pretty much not been home for 3 weeks due to work and my southern visit. Then I went back to work with fedex for a couple days per week.

Emry started his preschool transition and absolutely LOVES it! He is so good and listens extremely well. They are really excited to have them in their class. And MOMMY LOVES her 2.5 hour break! I can run errands in silence now lol. He has come so far from a year ago when he would only say woo hoo and uh oh. His vocabulary is endless and he comes up with new things that make my jaw drop to the floor everyday. he is also Pee trained. He's done the #2 a could times on the toilet but likes to go in his room once he's alone so we're still struggling with that. But He no longer wears Diapers till Bed time! Yay!!

Shellie is doing great! She's eating solids and loves fruits. Not so much any veggies. She loves to feed herself the puff foods. She screams for food. After six days of Grandma watching her, she FINALLY took a bottle so that's been awesome to have a little break from having to always feed her. She is sitting up great and I finally saw her roll over both ways on Christmas! She had been doing or so I had been told, but she wouldn't do it for me. Literally would do it as soon as I turned around. Stinker. She is starting to scoot around and pull her knees up so she'll be crawling in no time. She loves her toys and her brother. She makes tons of awful noises and still won't laugh. i should say the noises are awful like she's screaming crying but she's not, she just makes the noise. Shellie is such a smart little girl. I dunno if it's because she has an older brother to watch or the fact that we actually have toys for her to play and learn with. We didn't buy Emry his first toy til he was 10 months old, so that may have contributed to his being delayed. Oops. Shell is doing great and learning so much! We love her little smile and happiness. She still doesn't laugh which is sad but we're still trying to get her to make a giggle. Her hair is growing in great and I can't wait till it's pretty girl long. It's blonde. She looks just like her brother.

We love our babies so MUCH!!!

Updates for our life now. We are counting the days til we get to go on our vacation at the end of Feb. We're gonna visit Vegas and see some awesome shows and eat at buffets and some fun outdoor racing activities. Until the, we get to celebrate Devin and My Birthday and then Emry's Birthday. Still can't think of any ideas for his birthday party this year. Can't believe my baby will be 3 :(

We're also looking for a new car and we think we love the Camry.......we'll see about it.

Long but that's our life. Wish we could say it's in a nutshell but SO SORRY!!! hahahahhahahah

Happy Holiday!

Just wanted to get a post in before the Holidays were over.

Life is a little crazy and demanding right now. Everyone has been incredibly sick and it keeps going around circles. Shellie was in the ER for pneumonia, and now Emry has strep and a UTI. They both have been having fevers around 105. Shellie is FINALLY sleeping on her own again after being sick and has been anywhere from 6-10 hours. It's been nice to finally be in my bed alone. well with Devin I guess...

I'm helping out with Fedex until Christmas so I won't have any time to actually blog about life.
I'm feeling much better and I finally have a girl voice again!

Our plans for the Holiday include Christmas in Utah including Zoo lights on Christmas Eve and Temple square! Then we're heading down to Mesquite, Nevada to stay for the week and spend time with my dad. Devin will fly in for New Years, and then we'll head back home to start our 2012! We're excited for a mini vacation and hope that it's above zero degree's because that'll be warm!

We wish everyone Happy Holidays!

News and Updates

Blog 3: Well It's time to come out of the closet:

For the past 2 years I have hated life. I have been really sick without knowing it.

I had to convince myself to get out of bed in the morning and tell myself that it was worth it. I'd stand up and feel like I had thousands of pounds on me pushing me to the floor. I had to convince myself I could move my foot to walk to the bathroom. From this to feeling depressed to mood swings, to weight gain. Then the hair loss, the sore throats, the anxiety. The night sweats, the chills, the rashes and dry skin. The bruising, and muscle soarness and inability to move from complete hip pain. This is just the beginning of what I have felt. I haven't felt like myself in so long. I miss wanting to have parties, and go skiing, and meeting new people, and traveling, and laughing. I haven't wanted to do anything but sleep for so long. I feel so guilty that I don't have the energy to play with my kids, and that I am so quickly angry with them.

All I can say is I can't wait to be better.

About 12 months ago I found out I had Hypothyroid disease. This explains so many of the problems I had been having and why I wan't myself. I started taking the medicine and for a brief time during the pregnancy I felt AMAZING. I felt like myself again. I wanted to go out and have fun and be around people and talk and laugh. I was pregnant or I would have been out snowmobiling with my hubby. Then It all went back to feeling like crap.

I have been having to get tested every month since I had Shellie and the results have been all over the place and we can't get them under control with the medicaton. So this last week I came over for some more testing and was confirmed that I have thyroid Cancer.

I have had mixed emotions about it. I did research before I came over to Utah so I knew what was going to happen and what it all meant. Half of me wanted me to just be crazy and nothing to be wrong and the other half wanted it to be cancer so that we can fix it and i can get back to being me and happy. Well it was the latter and it finally hit home. I have cancer. It explains everything and yet I still have so much more to endure. I had to tell my family and it hit even more of a reality. I wish I could have been with my husband when I had to tell him. He didn't do so good. I still haven't seen him since I'm still stuck in Utah. I can't wait to hold him. Somehow I'm the one conforting him and telling him it'll all be ok. Already it's made me stronger and I can't wait to bring on life. I'm taking Emry to bowling tomorrow. I've wanted to forever and now I don't care. I'm taking him.

Life is going to get some much harder. We have to figure out how to pay for the surgury and all the medications. We have to figure out when I can have the surgury and where the kids can go. I have to figure out how to comfort my husband through it all because he can't leave work to be with me.

It all comes down to one answer. Prayer and our Heavenly Father. I have such faith that everything will be perfect. No matter how much more it spreads, no matter what happens after the surgury, I will always have my faith, my family and my Heavenly Father. Our Testimony's grow with every lesson and trial we indure. I will happily endure this if it brings my family closer together and makes our life the best it can be. I don't think this will be hard at all. It'll all be worth it if I can finally feel good again. No more pain, no more sad days, no more bad days. Just life. Bring it on baby

Devin I love you so much and I thank you for being there for me and not calling me crazy. I know it was hard for you to deal with me when we didn't know what was going on. I'm happy you though i was worth it to stick it our for our family. It's Your Love baby.

Sorry if this was all weird. This is my only journal for our family.

Emry Devin 2 yrs 9 months

Blog 2: Emry Devin
This year Emry got to be Duck for Halloween and a Dog. His Auntie lent him both costumes and got to pick between both of him. He was one happy boy. He loved trick or treating though, it was always TREAT TREAT lol. So cute. Last year, he got one candy and wanted to sit down and eat it. This year, we couldn't keep up with him. It was more and more and more and running away from me. He had a blast and sister slept through most of it. He was very polite and said Thank You most times.

During the summer Emry Waterskiied with his daddy for his first time. He cried until he got up on the ski then had a blast but daddy was too heavy and dragged him down til they had to let go. It was a cold day so Emry has been terrified of water ever since. We're working on him and he likes to use his arms and show us how he swims. It's cute. He swims all through Nemo. HA!
Cute little man. Daddy asked us to grow out his hair, so his hair is a little long here. He loves to say cheese and have his picture taken

I looked over and he had put the bow on his head while watching tv. Funny guy

We had a couple garage sales this summer, Emry's best friend came over to play and they found a coll spot to do so. SO of course Leslie took a picture of our boys. So funny!

A couple weekends ago we had a few trucks break down so we had to go with daddy to help him tow and move around the trucks. Em was chillin away for hours in his seat waiting for daddy to finish. He was a good boy.

Handsome little man.

First black eye. Daddy didn't move a desk in time and Emry ran smack into in the dark. Poor guy

Emry trick or treating

Emry has been a blast lately. At the same time he's been a big handful. He's developing a severe attitude. He's in speech therapy and has a playgroup on Monday's that he goes to. He's been loving it. He starts pre-school in February. He has a lot of energy! He has gotten so much better at talking and repeating what we ask him to. He's reached about 100 words in the last 6 months and his goal was 20 words. He's doing amazing!

While Shellie and I went to Washington, Emry got to play with Grandpa and Ma Anderson. He had an absolute blast and was very spoiled. He got to play with many cousins and even got to go visit his aunt and uncles in St. George. He had several funny stories happen while he was gone.

One is, He was being given a bath by grandpa at Uncle Darrells house. During the bath Grandpa remembered the clothes were out in the truck, so he went to grab them. He figured Emry would just keep playing and he'd be fine. As grandpa walked out the door, he heard the neighbors start blaring the music. He think man they like to party. He grabs the clothes and walks back to the house. He finds himself locked out. Meanwhile, Uncle Darrell was in his shower getting ready for the priesthood session. He hears music blaring from his living room. He runs out to find out what's going on and finds his nephew dancing around buck naked in the living room to blaring music that's bringing down the house. While grandpa is dead bolted locked outside. Within five second Emry had jumped out of the bath, locked grandpa out, turned on the music and blasted it. He's gifted I tell you!

I love you to pieces Emry. I love these stories little man. You are the smartest thing I have ever met and I can't wait to see what you make of yourself. I am so proud of you and proud to be your mommy. I hope you'll love me forever as much as I love you. I am so blessed to have you as my little boy for all eternity. Mommy hugs and kisses Monkey.

Shellie Lynn at 6 Months

Blog 1: Shellie Turns 6 months!
I have been horrible at blogging since she was born so I'll try and catch up on her goings on and her life. I have to use pictures to remember what's been happening so bear with me.

When Shellie was about 4 months old we took our first trip to Seattle to visit Papa Brian and Auntie Melissa and Uncle Marc and all her cousins. We had a blast that week. We didn't want to come home. It was a great break from my wonderful two year old. My dad actually had surgury on his shoulder while I was there and I got to see my dad all stoned out on pain killers. It was hilarious. We got to eat at a lot of Yummy restaurants native to Washington and also got to go see my daddy's cabin that he built from scratch. We got to ride is quads while we visited the cabin too. I can't wait til we get to spend some much needed vacation out there!
So this is Shellie sleeping and smiling on her first plane ride.

We also got to go to the Puyallup Fair while I was in Seattle. This is one of my favorite childhood memories so it was a blast to spend a day with my sister alone and enjoy our childhood together.

Before I left for Washington, My grandma came to visit all of us. This is Shellie with her Great Grandma(My mama's mommy).

We've also have started to try and give Shellie cereal. She doesn't much like it.

For Halloween this year my babies were birds of a feather together. Costumes were lended by some great friends. They were both so cute. Though EVERYONE called Emry a girl and Shellie a boy? Do you know a lot of boys that wear white and pink bows in their hair or penguin hair?
We had a blast for Halloween. The kids got to Trick or Treat around Down town, the mall, hospital and our Church's trunk or treat. We also had a church party where tons of food and games were had. SO FUN!

I think this is just a random picture of her?

Prince Pea sleeping

Another baby penguin sleeping

If you're cute and you know pop your collar :) My very very good friend(Auntie Kristin) made these cute bows for Shellie. I love them so much especially because NO ONE has them! YAY! We were in Washington in this pic.

Shellie has started to sit on her own and she's practicing in this picture. She hasn't really rolled over very well yet. She did a couple time and hasn't since. She never spends time on the ground so that's probably why. She is a VERY needy baby. She can't stand to not be held and she has a HORRID high pitch scream when she is hungry, tired, not held right, not looked at right, not sung to right, not rocked right, lets be honest. SHE DOES IT ALLLLLL THE TIME, UNLESS someone else is around. Then she's a sweet princess that everyone loves and they think I'm a liar. HA just ask daddy, she totally screams ALL the time.

A couple weeks ago she went 10 days without a #2 and she was just miserable and stunk SO bad. She finally went and has been trying to get a routine down with is. Her tummy still hurts her daily.

This is a video of Shellie in Washington with her Auntie Melissa. Auntie was able to get Shellie to really laugh for her first time. Mommy and Daddy have been really struggling to get much more out of her since then.

Shellie is a wonderful baby despite her lack of sleep, tons of crying and neediness. She loves to smile and you and hold your face. She coo's at you and just talks away. She says I love you a ton. It's really cute. She loves her brother to bits. He plays so many games with her. His favorite is keep away. He decides what toys she wants or doesn't want and distributes them as he sees fit. It's funny but she doesn't much like her toys being taken away. He loves to give Shellie hugs and kisses and blow raspberries on her tummy. He loves to say prayers with her and hold her. He tells her he loves her, " Hawaii baby" is what it sounds like. SO CUTE!

She has grown up so fast. I am so sad she's my last baby and I feel like I haven't gotten as much time with her as I did with Emry. Emry takes up a lot of my time so Shell just gets thrown on a hip and put on the back burner. I worry she won't progress like she should but I hope both my kids will get more attention very soon.

Shellies hair has started to grow in a lot better. She still has her skunk tail on top of her head that never fell out. It almost touches her eyes in the front now. She just had her 6 month appointment and did not like her shots one bit. She weighs 15 lbs 6 oz and was still 26 inches long. She didn't grow at all form 5 months. She still has a small head, but so did I.

Shellie I love you with all my heart and you are my specail baby girl. I am so happy that I was lucky enough to have you. You're a blessing and complete our family. I want you to know that I will always love you and you will always be our Lucky 13 baby.

Kisses from mommy.
