So I hope Everyone had a Fantastic Halloween! The best Holiday ever! Except this year I was too scared to get scared...didn't wanna pop the baby out or anything, so we took it easy.....I was sad :( Anyway, Devin had to work late everyday last week so while he was waiting to finish his pick-ups I went down and we went out to a pumpkin patch and picked up some pumpkins. It was fun! Devin was very very unsure about it. He hadn't done it before and wasn't too excited to carve pumpkins like I was. But he was
definitely tooting a different tune by the time we were done carving.
Anyway Thursday night when he got home late we started carving our pumpkins. Oh and before he got home I had already cut the tops off and got all the seeds and junk out of the four pumpkins so that he didn't have to waste time doing that. Can I tell you that I had blisters on my fingers! So even thought I love to carve pumpkins, I was so totally over doing it by the time he walked in the door. But the loving husband that Devin is, wouldn't let me quit so I had to carve my pumpkins. Which turned out to be great fun, minus the pain. We carved the two small pumpkins which we decided were supposed to be our "fun" ones to do whatever and not worry about looking fantastic. So what does my lovely spouse do.....CARVES A FREAKING SNOWMOBILE!!!! Did I mention to you all that he is OBSESSED!! So he takes like two hours to do the small pumpkin, which was supposed to be the fast one. He wanted to go to bed after that one.

So with my small pumkin I just started cutting and started doing a funny face which turned into a vampire with cat eyes. I thought it looked pretty cool. I showed my sister the picture and she told me it looks like the Count off Sesame Street, which it totally does. I couldn't stop laughing. I have style, NOT!!
Alright so I forgot to mention that we started off the carving party with some good ol' fashioned Martinelli's and had some scary music playing to set the mood. OH and I dressed up in a sexy costume so when he walked in the door, he dropped all his stuff on the ground. I laughed so hard. Hence why we have no pictures of the party. It was fun and I 'm sure Devin had way more fun making fun of me than anything else. Can I say it's not entirely comfortable to dress up fun when you have a basketball on your tummy. Next time I'm pregnant Im gonna be a Nun....
We were both extremely tired by this time so we went to bed and I was going to finish the pumpkins on Friday while Devin was working. Ya that didn't happen. I planned it so we could finish them when he got home, but our plans got way messed up this year because of the whole daylight savings change thing. I was headed out to go trick or treating with my sister and brother and the kids and our really good friends. But since it got dark at almost seven instead of the usual six, we got a late start. We had a fun night but I didn't end up home with Devin until about ten. I was really sad that I didn't get to spend the night watching scary movies and eating cookies with Devin. Oh well I had lots of fun with the kids.
The best part of the night was my niece who dressed up as spiderman. She as really cute. BUT what was cuter was when she said trick or treat, got her candy. Then said thank you, your pumpkin is really pretty, and opened up her bag as to say NOW GIVE ME MORE CANDY!!! I couldn't stop laughing but I was so embarrassed too!! For only being four she is definately too smart for her own good. Gotta love them kids.

So since we didn't have time to finish our pumpkins on Friday night we decided to celebrate Halloween for one more day and finish our pumpkins on Saturday, or should I say Devin decided we would and forced me to do. All my spirit was gone after Friday night. I was
sooooo tired. So we finished our pumpkins and yes, Devin did ANOTHER snowmobile. I do not know what I'm going to do with this man. I tried to do a cool looking scary monster bird thing but it didn't turn out so great. Oh well. So by the time we were finished we broke all the knifes and had to resort to using steak knives to finish. It was kind of funny to watch Devin stab at his pumpkin with a huge knife, and really scary. I kept having flashes of fingers being cut off. I'm too paranoid.

Speaking of paranoid. I am starting to have more and more cravings. I woke up from a nap on Saturday mumbling that I had to have a chocolate donut with sprinkles. Devin thought I was crazy
cuz I don't like chocolate donuts much. Maple is the best. So he kept asking if I really wanted one and I totally did. But I have a fear that I'm going to send him to the store to get me my cravings and some tragic accident is going to happen and it will be all my fault
cuz I had to have a stupid donut. Not likely this will happen but the fear out ways and cravings. So unless I want to get up myself and go get something I'm keeping the cravings in check. Oh I've been craving Chicken Noodle Soup too. I hate soup!! So this is really funny that I want this.
I think we spent the rest of the weeked relaxing, watching movies, playing games and eating. Oh not to mention lots of sleeping. We were both really sick on sunday so we had to take turns taking care of each other. Granted my head over the toilet beats his "my tummy" hurts any day of the week so he pretty much catered to me again. It took awhile for food to settle in my tummy so I didn't eat too much. I think I'm going to loose more weight than I gain during this pregnancy. That could be bad. So Nothing else exciting is happening along the lines of baby. He's still a kickin away but Devin can't quite feel him yet. But he's still growing so he'll be able to feel it soon.
We have decided for sure His name will be Emery Devin but haven't decided on the spelling. It'll either be Emry or Emery. With Emery, the older generation is turning the name into a three syllable name and its driving me crazy! Literally! So me might drop an E so people can't confuse the way its pronounced. We'll see how we feel in four months. I can't believe that's all I have left! I think we'll take tummy pictures again in a week or so. I don't feel like I'm getting bigger so it'll just look like the last picture.
Oh some exciting news! Devin's Brother Darren and Sister in-law Mandi, Had their baby on Friday. How cool to have a Halloween Baby! His name is Trayden Darren Anderson and was 6 pounds five ounces and 19 incehs. Such a small baby!!! They are all doing great from what I've heard from Devin.
That's All Folk's!!
