MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I thought I should hurry up and get a blog up before Christmas cuz We'll have a lot to write about and we don't want another super duper long blog. Life has still been crazy! We're all done with crafts except for on ebay if I ever get any time to list them. I have my next building to clean but can't seem to find time or sitters so I can get started We'll see if it happens. I start school January 11th so life's going to get even more crazy. That's all for current.

December 9th my Grandma Hovik passed. She had four Hearth Attacks and was taken off Life Support and died a couple hours after. We had her funeral December 12th. It was a very very spiritual event for me. We see birth, and all the things that happen after, blessings, baptisms, missions, marriages, sealings, endowments etc. It was amazing to see the end of a life and all that it brings. In a sense it brought closure to my life. I was able to help dress my Grandmother in her Temple Clothes Friday. I was terrified about seeing a dead body. I didn't think about touching her. I got there and my Aunt grabbed my hand and said touch her! My stomache exploided! But I got through it and it was one of the top five best days of my life. Though the week events had me completely drained and very very tired. I didn't get much sleep cuz I got kicked to the couch by my own child. He refused to let me sleep in the same room as him. Not fun!

During the week in Utah I was able to get a lot of errands done and see some friends that We've missed a ton and even got to eat at IN and OUT! Yum.

After a week away from my husband and around a lot of family I was very happy to come home to Wyoming. And so was Emry! We walked in and if you were here you would have heard me scream. I completely forgot what my house looked like! CHRISTMAS! So happy. And I put Emry down and he squealed as he adventured into every nook and cranny of the apartment. He was so happy but no daddy was found for a few hours. We love to come home and hate to leave.

I got several boxes of clothes for Emry and I was in his room going through them and stuff and I turned around to find this. My son LOVES to take things out of boxes and laundry baskets. I have never seen him get into one himself. I can say now that he's done it Twice!!! He's hilarious.

YAY DECEMBER!!

My Heavens it has been a very long month. Emry has grown up a lot this month. He started really crawling. At the moment I'm very mad at him. He's become what I call the Terror. He's broken three keys on my laptop now including the backspace and spacebar. Two keys I use most often. So now I have to hit the key in the exact right spot in order to make it work. LOVE IT! Everything takes twelve times as long to write now. He's also broken the Curtains in our living room. The vinyl kind that came with the apartment. He pulled down the decorative piece that the curtains were laying on top of and then tried to pull the individual blinds down one by one. LOVE IT! I'm going to blame this one thing on him too. He broke my phone. Really I did it with my elbow(Devin tells me daily that they are dangerous and now he's correct). I was getting out of bed and didn't want to step on Emry so I was manuevering awkwardly around him so I wouldn't step on him and ended up using my phone as an elbow support to hoist myself up. LOVE IT! He's also broken several other things around the place and in constantly into EVERYTHING! I do truly love this part. He's so big now and so grown up. He's a brand new kid that has A LOT of opinions.

We had a couple dr visits this month. The first he had an ear infection but went in for a cough that he had for more than three weeks. Never found out what that was but cleared up with the antibiotics for the ear infection. Then about a week later we returned for his well check/sick visit because he once again was broken out bad on his face. He's very allergic to many things and were having a fun time trying to figure out what the many things are. So far its pretty much any and all fruit, and dogs. He also had thresh. Which he in turn gave to me. So many pharmacy visits later we are all better. Except Emry is supposedly teething but I'll never know because he refuses to let me put my finger in his mouth to feel, not to mention attempting to look at it. I think I'll figure it out when he bites me but so far it always feels like he's biting me so once he draws blood i'll know.

We also had a craft fair that we participate in on the 21st. It was fun and definately an experience. We evened out so overall it was an okay day though the three previous nights of no sleep was totally not worth it. Did I mention that during this time I was also doing construction cleaning. I had twelve units at about 7 hours a piece. After it was over I literally had blisters on my palms, every inch of my hands were cracked and bleeding, and my body was the most sore it's ever ever ever been including child birth. I had to saran wrap my hands after putting mounds of lotion on them and stick them in socks for three days before they finally started to heal. Man the check better be worth it!

Devin helped me out a lot during this time and Emry spent a lot of time with Grandma Anderson. Devin has hit what they call 'peak' season so Emry and I won't be seeing too much of him. He'll leave for work around 6 and won't be home until around 7 or 8 if he's lucky. And the bad weather hasn't even hit yet.

Thanksgiving was spent here in Wyoming at the Anderson's trailer. It was a good day. Devin spent most of it cutting wood for more craft projects. I'll be posting a blog devoted to the crafts. I still have a bit left that I need to sell if anyone is interested in taking it off my hands.

I honestly didn't even take many pictures during the last month because I have been so dang busy but Ill put on a few.

We moved Emry into the one bedroom to see if it helped when he was sick and it did. He sleeps 11-12 hours again. So he's king of the house now:)

I retyped this blog post title fifteen times and liked nothing so I wrote this....

I'm a dork. Enough Said. Anyway it's been another crazy couple weeks. We're all still pretty sick. I took Emry to the Dr and he was on the verge of having an ear infection so he got antibiotics for that. Though his coughing still has not stopped so I have to give him allergy/asthma medicine. I can't remember which one it is. Hopefully that works. I had about a week and half off from cleaning so it was great to catch up on all the things I lacked on doing around my own house. I got everything cleaned and we actually moved all our furniture around too. We ended up putting Emry in the bedroom so that he wouldnt be in the drafty dining room anymore. We were hoping it would help with him being sick and with his sleeping. It did work. He's back to sleep 11-12 hours. Mom's very happy for sleep again. He's grown a lot in the last two weeks too. I bought him 18 month pajama's that hung off his feet like 4 inches and last night I put them on him again and they fit! He gained about a pound and half in the two weeks too. Big boy. He also started crawling and gets into EVERYTHING now. It's fun. His favorite games are to pull down every single DVD from the entertainment center and if he finds anything like a basket with things inside he pulls every single thing out. His best friend is still the vaccuum but mum doesnt let him play with it ever. Dirty! He's still pulling himself up like crazy. He loves to stand and walk along things and he's attempting to walk in between things now. Usually results in a fall and a smack on the head by whatever object he was going for but hey he's trying! He'll be walking before ya know it. I think I just had a anxiety attack.

For Halloween Emry dressed up as a, you guessed it, a monkey!!!! He was so dang cute. Tray's birthday party was on 29th so we all dressed up. It was fun but man were we ready to get out of our costumes. It was fun to wear though and remenaisse(don't feel like doing spell check)about our special day on the beach. Tray was Elvis! Fun!! Then on Friday, we went to church for the fun and games but we ended up missing the Trunk or Treat which was the only reason we went. We left because it didn't seem like they were going to do it. Nothing seemed organized, but it's probably cuz we got there late and missed all the instruction. Oh well. Then on Saturday out apartments had a pizza party so we chowed down then went home. By this time we were all so sick and decided we should hunker down in the house for the weekend. Oh well.

Now I've been cleaning again and have tons and tons to do. Oh I have been working on my many many projects as well and have actually sold quite a few on ebay! Yay for more business! It's so exciting!

Some More Projects

Here's a couple more projects I've been working on to sell at the show we're doing here in November.

I can do this custom to your favorite person instead of George Strait. I'm thinking of doing one that says If you're not God or Miley Sirus, DO NOT ENTER! all pink and girly for doors to girls room? I'm going to sell them for $5 if anyone wants one they will make great christmas presents!!

This is a girls night light. The picture is from a cell phone so it didn't show it the best that I would like it to but general picture I'm going to sell these for $15. I can do different things with the girls too like princess themed, animals, etc

And a boys night Light. Again $15 if anyone wants to get one for christmas presents. I can pretty much put any figure on the outside of the nightlight. I would do the inside a little more colorful and unique that would match the figure. Like elephants, bears, giraff, lion, monkey, boat, pretty much anything you like.

I am also going to do some christmas themed ones that I'll put pictures up after I make them. I'm way excited to make them!

Another Week Gone...

This post is boring. I've been so entirely busy these last two weeks. I feel like I couldn't even stop to breath. I've had a ton of apartments to clean as well as shopping for one of my clients to get some things the previous client had taken from the apartment. After twelve hours of work on a one bedroom, I must say Sunday was awesome! To sit and do nothing for a whole day, wow. Actually after cleaning up everyone elses grime, mess, and germs I got sick. So I spent Sunday in bed and in the bathroom. Not fun. AND!!! Now Emry is sick. Poor little guy. He's got snot constantly running down his face and a fever. I thought maybe this was a sign that he was gonna start to teeth since he's been tricking us for months now, but his boogies are green so sickness it is. Hopefully he feels better soon. So after all the cleaning this week and last week. I can say I'm done for at lease a few days. Sad to say that doesn't mean I'm really done. Now I get to clean for free. My own house :( I've neglected it for awhile now. And Devin too. I finally made him dinner last night for the first time in two weeks. It was just a chicken casserole but man it was sooooooo sooooo good. Apparently I was depriving myself of some good food too. So now it's on to Utah I think. I still haven't made up my mind and I'm supposed to leave today. But the laundry isn't done and the house isn't clean and I can't pack till those things are done so it'll probably be tomorrow before I leave. My mom's gonna be sad. Okay I think I'm rambling now. New things for us............Devin is still slaving away with Fedex and is still trying to break into his own business. He thought he had someone that wanted his product but when he went back to confirm it, he apparently was talking to someone not important who thought that he was and didn't have any authority to make any decisions. Suffice to say the Owner enjoys giving away free things instead of making people buy it themselves. FINE! So Devin's still venturing out to find somewhere else. I think I got one more job with cleaning the apartments here after they are built and before people move in. This job will pay a little better but its way more extensive because I have to clean up construction mess and I have to do twelve units in about three days I think. So I gotta find a place for Emry while I work those. YAY!! I'm very excited that the cleaning business is taking off. It's nice to have it though I wasn't expecting it so I wasn't prepared for it. Hence the dirty house and Emry being neglected play time. Which is why I'm so excited to have a day off! Play time with Emry!!!!! His favorite game right now is Peek-boo.....that's what he calls it. It's so awesome that he's mimicking our sounds and man do they sound like words. He's also say good. When Devin said well, good- to nothing being in the fridge. He's also said oh crap, after mom said it to him throwing up. LOL bad mommy. It was soooo funny! He Says Hi! all the time and I just can't get enought of his little laught. Man I love my kid!!! He's getting so freaking big now! I'm taking him to get weighed today so we'll see how big my big boy is. I'm sorry to who's reading this. Here's a pic.

So YAY! but so LAME!!

Well I have exciting news which for some reason has made me sweat! I feel like I've been waiting all day long again for Devin to ask me to marry him. You know the anxiety in your stomach, sweaty pits, the so dang excited that you can't get your sentences out without feeling like your gonna scream with joy in the middle of a word kind of stuff. Well I started cleaning for the Apartments we live in when tenants move out to make the apt ready for new tenants. Its been fun and some easy extra money for me. Well yesterday when I went to return some keys from cleaning one of the girls asked me if I would be interested in.....and I said yes before she even got her sentence out. There was some laughter and she said she would give my number to the clients. Well today I got the call from Marriott. I will be cleaning the apartments that they have rented for their clients that periodically stay here. It's honestly like an extended stay in a hotel suite that has a kitchen and washer and dryer type thing. I even get to put out Marriott toiletries for the clients! I can't believe I am so excited! Not because I get to clean nasty toilets but because I have my own business!!!!! Going to college seems unreal now since I'm a stay at home mom with no real hope of finding a good job out here in Wyoming so I might as well find a job that I get to have my kid with me since I'm a wimp and can't handle working full time and putting him in daycare. I think it's a fair trade. I'm super excited to have money to save up!!! Yay for Mommy Cleaners!!! Told you this blog was lame....yet you were still enticed to read it....it's all part of my mystical powers and charm :)

This last week has been super super fun! Over the weekend we got a little bit of cleaning done and relaxed for the most part. We have been planning to head over to Utah for the last two weekends but something always happens to prolong our trip. My mom was sick this last weekend so we voted to not get sick too. Then we planned on heading there this weekend to hit up conference and visit her, but they got news last night so they are headed to their Reunion in Nebraska. So no Utah this weekend. So I'm planning on heading over there the 8th or so to hang out for a week to be with my mom since she's turning 52 this year!!! I love you MOM!! I am also hoping I get to see some friends while I'm there since I won't be back to Utah til Emry's birthday party. At lease that's what's planned for right now. Who knows, my mom might convince to come visit another time as well.


So our fun times.....About two weeks ago Devin planned a date for us. I was so excited!!! For once I didn't have to figure anything out! I just got to relax and enjoy the ride. Literally. He started the date by taking Emry over to the new Playground at our Apartments. So Emry got to go down his first slide. HE LOVED IT!!! There was a lot of slides on the playground! Man I don't remember having those cool of playgrounds when I was a kid. Then we jumped in our car and headed to K-Mart and picked up Emry a new Highchair since he's trying to feed himself these days. He loves it and spends a lot of time playing in it. Not much eating is going on just yet lol. Then we drove around to check out the town. Rock Springs is about 4 miles Radius so there isn't too much to venture around. Anyway we found this cool restaurant/bar that just started doing country dancing! We were so excited to find a FREE place to dance! So we asked Devin's little brother to come over and sit with Emry(since he was already asleep for the night) and we went out. It was great. We walked in the door and discovered........WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE!!! Well except for a really old couple and there friend sitting at a table drinking. So we hit the dance floor. It was way fun and we realized that when you go about a year and half without dancing, you don't remember ANYTHING! Well we tried a few moves and lifts and I ended up kicking this big red globe light thing hanging from the ceiling. I was so embarrassed! But Devin made me keep trying to perfect the lift. Apparently I'm a chicken these days. Then we went home because I was exhausted from cleaning the apartment all day.


This week Devin has made it a point to do something nice for me. It's funny how simple little things are but they really make all the difference. I haven't been this happy for over a year!!! On Saturday Devin helped me around the apt and entertained Emry for me. Then on Monday, Devin called and told me not to worry about dinner. Which is a good thing because I hadn't even thought about it yet and it was 5pm already. Which is late because Emry goes to sleep between 6 and 7 these days so I have to do dinner super early since he sleeps next to the kitchen. Well Devin got home and said Burger King??? I was so excited! I found some coupons on Saturday while I was cleaning and made a comment to myself about it. Devin heard and made a mental note!! So awesome!. Then on Tueday Devin took me to Smiths. On wednesday of the week before I made a comment about the Smiths ad, "Hey cool! You buy a soda and get a King Size candy bar free!!" I love both but can't have chocolate or carbination anymore while breastfeeding. So every once in a while I like to treat myself. Well Devin took me there and for two bucks we got two king size Kit Kat's and two sodas and a redbox and went home and watched a movie and ate junk. It was great!!


Today Devin, let me get a new diaper bag because my last two(the one you get from the Hospital and the one my mom got me for Mother's day) both broke so I got a super big one that is two bags, and a bottle bag. I'll take a picture of it for the next blog. I also found a super cute pj's for Emry for a christmas present. I was excited! We continued on and explored Wal-Mart since it's pretty much the only thing to do around here. We browsed the baby toys, and clothes and vaccuums. I got some really great Ideas for Christmas. I'm excited. We decided to make a Target Wish list to put all of our Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversary stuff on it since they all happen within like a month. We're hoping this helps out so that we get things we super duper really need. Fingers crossed lol. Wow this is turning into a super super long blog. Sorry. Can you tell I'm happy cuz I can't stop talking about everything!
Anyway, we continued on in Wal-Mart to the Halloween section! Oh man I about wet my pants! I love love love Halloween. I love scaring people. I love the decorations. The candy, the parties, carving pumpkins! I am so stoked that i have a baby to take Trick or Treating this year! He's gonna be a monkey I think if the costume fits him. Emry's cousin Tray's birthday is on Halloween so we think he's gonna have a party which will be awesome.


So beyond that stuff, Devin is still working hard with Fedex. The peak season is beginning to hit so he has been increasingly getting more packages to deliver which means longer days. It feels like winter officially set in today. He even saw snow, which sucks. When you drive 111 miles one way to deliver in storms, wind and snow, the Mommy at home worrys! I have started cleaning the apartments when people move out to get them ready for new tenants. It's been nice to have a little extra money to save up for a vacation and christmas presents. Emry has had a very good couple weeks. He's started doing a lot of new things and is becoming a very independent baby. Though he still really loves his Mommy and asks for me allllll the time. He moves really well doing what I call the worm. Which in reality he's pulling himself along with his arms. He hasn't quite got the actual crawl moving your hands then knees thing down yet. If I leave the room, he'll soon follow. He gets into everything! He has some favorite things that he just can't leave alone. His car seat, cords, the computer, the vaccuum, laundry baskets, the board games on the entertainment center, the ottoman, the screen door, the stopper thing on the back of the front door, and the bottom of his stroller. He knows where he's not allowed to go too. If he see's an opening to the off limit area's he makes a break for it. And almost always gets it before Mommy can pick him up. He loves to stand now. He hates hate hates to be put down sitting. He wants to stand and hold on to you. So we put him at our feet and he just holds onto our legs. He can pull himself up to staning now too. Though it usually results in him falling down once he realizes he got himself up. Its so funny! He still blows lots of rassberries and makes lots of funny sounds. He started make noises when you put your finger across his mouth too. There's videos below.

Okay this blog is going to get even longer....

I have had this feeling for the past few weeks and I haven't been able to shake it. So I've decided to do something about it. I want to tell all the people in my life how very special and important they are to me. I know I don't do it enough or if I ever have told them before. So here it goes.

My main man: Devin I love you with all my heart and soul. I know I've told you time and time again but I need to you to know that I LOVE YOU! You are such an amazing person. You have the best smile, and my special bug eyes. I love your shoulders baby. Always have an always will. Sorry if this is mushy and makes absolutely no sense to any of you. But it means everything to me and him. Its Your Love Devin.

To my Mom and my Sister. You two are my bestest friends. You are always there for me whenever I need to talk or cry. Though you are both far away from me again, I always think about you and I pray for you both daily. Thank you for being in my life and loving me for the way I am.

To my bestest friends: Barbara and Liesel. You girls have known me for six years now. That just seems entirely crazy that we started college that long ago. We have had so many great times and Memories. I love you both so much and I am truly thankful that you have been a part of my life. You befriended me when I believe to be my worst years and you stuck by my side through all of it. I love that I know you'll always be my friends even though we are now apart. I hope that we will get to spend time together soon. I truly miss you.

To my other very special and important friends Kristin and Lacie. Though we haven't been friends for quite as long as some others, you both mean so much to me. You came into my life at different times and touched my heart in just the way only you guys could. I can't imagine my life without your friendship. Thank you.

To my Church ward. There are so many new people and new friends that I have made here. I can't tell any of you how much your friendship has meant to me. I have been married for 18 months now and only in the last six months have I truly felt at home. And it is all because of my friends in my ward. I feel like they took us(Devin and I) in during our most needed time. Though we would have never ever told anyone how hard of a time we've been having. You guys invitied us into your lives and in turn made us live our lives FINALLY! I have to also apologize for Devin and I for the past month. We have been distant and probably not the happiest and nicest we could have been. For some reason we started to seperate ourselves from everyone here in rock springs instead of embrassing everyone in our lives here like we should have done and needed to have done. The reason is very devastating to us. We kept this secret from everyone but I feel now that it is time for me to tell. I kept the secret because I didn't want to be asked questions about it because I was didn't know if I was happy that it happened. I was confused and hurt and upset and didn't understand anything. I now know that our Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways and for whatever reason, it was the right thing so I need to Be happy. But before that I again want to tell the Overland ward that I Love each and everyone of you and can't wait to build our relationships.

The Last weekend in August Devin and I found out that we were pregant. We found out because we were losing the baby. I had been really sick for weeks. And I knew I was, but couldn't bring myself to test. We were headed out to the lake to be with Devin's family and I finally decided I had to know so I could understand what was happening. At this point I had been feeling contractions for two days. I took the test and was positive. I was devastated because we could not financailly bring another child into this world. At the same time I knew that I was losing the baby so I was happy because I couldn't handle the weight on my shoulders of having another child when Emry is only six months old. I was upset with myself for being happy, equally upset with myself for having and underlying feeling that I wanted another baby. There are so many emotions that happened all at once, I can't even explain them all. We had fun at the lake, we put that part of our life on hold and enjoyed skiing. Sunday we skipped church to just be with each other. That afternoon I passed the baby. It was final, I was no longer pregnant. We cried and hugged and had the spiritual situation in our life that we needed to shape us up. The next week I finally began to feel better. No more late nights in the bathroom, no more nausea, no more cramps, no more contractions. I woke up one more and couldn't believe how good I felt because I had been feeling like HELL(sorry ya'll no other way to explain that) for so long. Time heals all wounds. We have no idea how we got pregnant with breastfeeding and protection but we did. So lesson time for all those breastfeeding women out there. You can DEFINATELY get pregnant while breastfeeding so use protection!

We don't have too much to report these days. We've been sick and very tired this past couple weeks. Or least I have. I have been having asthema attacks at night so I haven't been sleeping. Emry is going through the Stranger Anxiety/I want only my Momma stage so that's been very taxing on me as well. I can't seem to get anything done because I put Emry down and he crawls to my feet and cries until I pick him up. Its very adorable but frustrating at he same time. When I say crawl, Emry hasn't quite got the moving the hand and the knees at the same time thing down yet. He pretty much just chills on all fours and either bear crawls using his feet or flops on his tummy and pulls himself foward. But he's learning that's for sure.

As for our activities, Labor Day weekend we relaxed and caught up on sleep and chores. We went to the park on Monday and flew a kite and played on the zip line. It was awesome! It was a beautiful day and it was fun to get out of the house and sit in the grass. After the park we went to Hastings and grabbed some magazines and pulled up a couch and caught up on the gossip and car info for Devin. It was fun. Other than that I can't think of anything else fun that we've done. We're getting boring now that fall has set in here in Wyoming.

I thought I wrote about our ski trip before but I just found the pictures so I'm guessing not. We went water skiing the weekend before Labor Day. I got sick the Thursday before this trip so I was still not feeling great during the trip. There's a video of Devin Skiing. He's so good! At the very end the rope snaps back towards the boat. It scared the crap out of all of us. We still can't figure out what happened cuz Devin didn't let go, or fall till after the rope snapped. But the rope isn't broken. So weird!!

We also went to a friends 1st Birthday party on Saturday. It was a monkey themed party. It was so much fun! The boys got to hit a pinata(spelling?) and yest boys plural meaning my husband had to jump in on the kid fun too! lol

We are also desperately trying to sell our Car and Devin's snowmobile....if you know anyone that is interested or looking, send them my way please please please...
