Emry 30 Weeks...

So Devin finally brought the camera home on Sunday so we were able to take some pictures. It's funny that he's kept the camera the past like two weeks so he could have it for snowmobiling and he totally forgot to even take it with him on Saturday. I love my husband!!! Anyway, I was really sad this time because it's been three weeks and my tummy looks smaller!!! Definitely not the way you want to feel when you're increasingly feeling huge and can barely walk, yes I totally waddle now. Devin thinks it's hilarious. I however, do not. So you can tell that the tummy isn't as round as it used to be. He's starting to migrate down to get ready to come out. Even though we're like 8-10 weeks away from his debut. But he's still doing great!

Nothing else exciting has happened with us. It's been snowing like crazy so I've been holed up in my house since I'm way too scared to drive during the storms. But I have lots to do in the next couple days so I'm getting excited to be drained of all my energy!! Hope Everyone is enjoying the Holidays!

One More Week!!

I am getting so excited for Christmas!!! I can't wait to share our first Christmas together. I just finished Devin's present up so I just need to wrap it up before he gets home on Saturday. It's nothing crazy but something really really cute. He already got a new snowmobile and new snow pants so he doesn't get anymore presents for a very very very long time. But he's gonna love what I made him. I'll put a picture up on Christmas of him opening it up YAY!!!

So besides Christmas stuff, I have been up in Logan a few times in the past week and got the chance to hang out with some of my Bestfriends that I haven't seen in forever. Last week Barbara and I went out to Angie's and had some breakfast then Devin arrived and we spend the afternoon play Mario Kart and World Tour. Devin is so good at Mario Kart. It won't be long til he convinces me we have to have the game. He loves it!

We spent the weekend with our family pretty much. We had our brother and sister and their little Trayden over on Friday for Dinner and Wii time. The boys were so intense! The mom's just kicked back and talked the night away. Literally! Then we went down to Sandy on Sunday for Trayden's blessing. It was great! Devin freaked out officially about becoming a Father. Mainly because in three months he'll be doing the blessing. It was so cute! His face has never been so red. I wish I got a picture of that moment! After the blessing we got to visit our good friends Suzanne and Trent who live right next to Sandy. I hadn't seen them since our reception! It has been so great to be back in Utah and catch up with all the people I love so much!!!

That brings us to this week: Yesterday I went up to Logan again with Liesel and Lacie to visit Barbara again and take her out for her Graduation Lunch! We are extremely proud of her. I have never seen someone work so hard and be so organized all through college! Time really does fly by. We have all known each other since our freshman year 2003. Crazy!!! I love the girls and can't wait for our next get together!
Here's a picture I stole from Barbara's blog :)
From the Left: Me, Barbs, Liesel, Lacie and baby Saylor.

I Just found this picture of us all back in the Summer of 2004. Crazy!!! Barbs had just started dating her husband kind of but didn't want to admit it. I was working in Disneyworld and Liesel was working at Hogi Yogi with Barbara. I have no clue what Lacie was doing about that time?

I am 29 weeks now so I am still counting down! Devin has the camera for Snowmobiling this weekend so I have no belly shots, sorry! Next week I'll get one in and maybe it'll look like I've grown. I don't feel much bigger like I did last time but I never know. I see myself from a different angle.
Well I hope everyone is enjoying the snow and the Holiday season. I can't wait for next week and all the fun dates we have with friends and family!! YAY

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

So yesterday it snowed! It was the first time for me this season. I decided I don't think I'll enjoy driving in it this year and will be a lot more scared to walk around. Pregnancy=clumsy! But I was so happy to see a little bit of white on the ground.

This past week I actually go to see Devin more than I thought. I spend Monday and Tuesday up in Logan and ended up going down to Sandy on Tuesday night with Devin to help our brother and sister pack up and move. Then I drove Devin back to Logan on Wednesday morning then came back home to sleep. TOO MUCH DRIVING!!! But it was fun to hang out with the Mandi and the baby and watch the boys do all the work.

Then on Wednesday, we had the opportunity to go to the Jazz game. It was my first time so I was so excited! My step dad's boss had a box reserved for their work Christmas party so we got to sit in a more quiet, comfortable box and have catered food and drinks. It was awesome! It felt nice to actually feel like a VIP for a day....even though we are SO not. We lost the game but it was still intense to watch. Then Devin went back up to work Thursday morning and came back Friday after work since there wasn't enough snow for them to go sledding yet.

Then we spent the rest of the weekend cleaning and relaxing. We got our Christmas tree up and decorated! I pretty much just watched Devin do it because all the spinning around the tree to hang the lights would have made me very sick. Then Devin took pictures and we enjoyed a Christmas movie. It was very relaxing and fun. On Sunday my mom came to visit and I cooked Lasagna for dinner. It was great to have her over! Yet very very weird! I'm all grown up now!

Then we broke out the Wii, made homemade ice-cream for Devin and then watched Desperate Housewives and crashed.

Yesterday I finally found a doctor and one that I loved! I got some more pictures of Emry and a DVD of the ultrasound but unfortunately I can't get them onto the blog. But that's okay because it was all in 4-d so he looks a little scary right now. But he's 2 pounds 6 ounces right now so he's a growing! I go back in January so we'll see how much he changes by then!!! Maybe those pictures will turn out better and I can find a way to get them to a digital photo. Well I think that's all for the Anderson's. Keep praying for more snow so the boys and girls can play in the mountains!!!

Emry 27 Weeks

So I'll be 27 weeks on Wednesday!! It's going by really fast yet really slow! We took the picture a few days early because Devin is over in Logan working until Christmas. Can I tell you how much I don't like not having my husband here with me especially at night. I'm a chicken now! That and I can't lift anything so I feel like I'm useless. Oh well. Only three an a half weeks.
Anyway when we took this picture and looked at it we both went WHOA!!! Devin can see me everyday so he doesn't notice me getting bigger and I can't really see at all expect looking down which doesn't give ya much of an idea of what I really look like. Anyway, now I know why I'm definitely feeling way more tired and Everything is SO much tighter! Emry jumps around like crazy and we can now see an alien poking around and making my tummy looks like a bowl of jello. It's so weird! Like and alien inside me making my tummy jump. Our new game is putting the remote on my tummy and see how long it take to get thrown off. It's funny.

We got to go down and visit our Brother and Sister in-law this last week even though I've been sick. I didn't hold him much to be safe but I got a picture of Devin with Tray. Can I tell you that I am SO lucky cuzDevin is a natural with babies. He knew how to hold him and how to hold him in different ways to make him stop crying. I just stared and then freaked out because I was SO nervous holding Tray. I was scared of breaking him. He is so little. I have never held a baby under 8 pounds and Tray is almost 7 pounds now and he's a month old!!! Anyway it was adorable to see my husband being such a good daddy. It made me feel truly blessed to find such a fantastic partner for eternity. I can't wait!! 3 MORE MONTHS!!!

Besides that, we've been unpacking and organizing the new apartment. I'll put picture up once the place doesn't look like a hurricane hit it with boxes. It's close to being done though so ya'll won't have to wait too long. It's been exciting though. So far we have lost a remote to a TV and a bag that has some of my underwear and lingerie type stuff, not that I can wear it. And some of my maternity stuff. So I am sad that its gone!! I can't believe we can't find it!!! I hope it turns up soon.
We bought our Christmas tree and stockings on Saturday too! Along with a glider for the baby. So one thing down, four hundred to go!!

Hope Everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekends!! We had a long day but I'll let Devin post about that one because it was a super exciting day for him.

Shorty

I just wanted to add to my last post a big PS

We are officially back in Utah and at this exact moment moving into our new apartment in Clearfield. I can't do much hence the post. BUT YAY!!!! WERE HERE AND MOVING ALREADY!!!!

And EMRY doesn't stop kicking for a single second so he's doing perfectly!
Okay I've been tagged a few times now by friends so I'm going to finally keep my end of the bargain.....

Quirk #1
I smell my cup or bowl before I put a drink or food in it. Even if the cup is brand new out of the bag throw away kind that could not possibly be dirty. Ya that's one of my very weird ones and I have done it as long as I can remember. I don't purposely do it, I just do. Then one day, Suzanne, My college roommate told me I did it and we laughed a long time if I remember correctly. She also told me I NEVER close cupboards behind me. I really started to believe her when I was living by myself and I'd walk into the kitchen to find half the cupboards open. I think that ones funny. Now I have a husband that does it.

Quirk #2
I really dislike talking on the phone and I am sorry to say I avoid it as much as I can. I WILL NOT answer the phone if I don't know the number. If the person doesn't leave a message I'll block it and call back to see who it was to see if I needed to talk to them or if it was the doctor or something. Now that I'm pregnant it's gotten a little worse that I just plain don't want to talk to anyone, even when standing right in front of me. I just hide behind Devin so I don't have to think and try to focus on the conversation since I am loosing all my braincells and becoming dumb. Literally. I am NOT exaggerating.

Quirk #3
This is a pregnancy quirk because this is definately not my regular personality. I am hating being touched by another person. I don't want to hug or shake hands or anything. But don't worry I won't bite your hand off if you want to feel Emry jumping around. Poor Devin, I think I went like three days without hugging him cuz I couldn't stand him being anywhere close to me breathing down my neck. Literally! His breathing gets on my nerves like crazy right now. The joys of Preggohood!

Quirk #4
I cannot let my toothbrush touch anything. I have to have it in a bag put away or something when it's not in use. I just can't stand the thought of all the nasty bacteria that is spread throughtout the restroom when it's being used and such. Ugh I get mad at Devin if he puts my brush down on the sink or something if he can't find his own. I will seriously buy a new one and not use mine anymore. I am so OCD!!!
Oh and I used to have to have my right foot in the air while I brushed my teeth. That's just weird

Quirk #5
I won't use the towels people have in their bathroom's when visiting them. I just don't know how clean they are and I hate when your hands smell moldy after drying them off on a nasty old towel. I think a lot of my quirks involve smelling. I also won't reuse my towels if they have touched the ground or something. Especially if they haven't been hung up to dry and they get all moldy smelling. See more smells....

Quirk #6
I have a lot of routines. Like how I get into my car and start it to how I eat my food routine. I won't go into details cuz this isn't exciting or anything. I just couldn't think of a last one...oh well

I think lots have done this already but I'll do:

Emry 25 Weeks

Not too much new on the Anderson front. It's time again for Belly pics, I'm not seeing too much of a difference in size, just more rounding out. 15 or less more weeks!!! It's just crazy!!! We're still healthy and doing good, and knock on wood I haven't been too sick besides headaches. I totally just jinxed myself though.

We spent last weekend relaxing a bit and went up to Seattle and went to the temple. It was really to really go inside the temple there compared to doing baptisms for the dead every year as a kid. We watched movies the rest of the weekend and attempted to sleep in. We can't make it past seven :(

Were getting ready to pack up and move back to Utah. We've settled on the North Salt Lake Area. So somewhere between Bountiful and North Ogden. We've seen some cute places on KSL and craigslist but soon we'll be around to check them out and decide exactly where we want to be. Then play time begins!!! Unpacking our pretty things from our storage unit and getting to decorate for Christmas!! Such an awesome time of year. Yes, and weirdly I'm exicted to see the peacefulness of SNOW!!! As long as I don't have to deal with Logan winters. So we'll keep ya'll posted on when we're all moved to Utah! Love ya'll

Christmas is Coming!!

So Devin and I are making our plans for moving back to Utah! We are so dang excited! We've made our lists and checked them twice and decided on the North Salt Lake area is where we'll be living. So if anyone knows a great place between Bountiful and North Ogden, let me know. Oh and if anyone has any ideas to help Devin out in his job hunt, that would be fantastic too!
Baby is doing good and getting bigger and bigger. Devin felt him move for the first time, he couldn't stop kissing me he was so happy!! He also massages my tummy for me as daddy/baby bonding time and last night he asks...is he sitting right here?.....he can tell where Emry has taken up niche in my belly too! He's getting very good at knowing what's going on just by touching the tummy. We're getting way excited!!
Last weekend we decided to have a date on Friday night. We attempted to go to Panda Express because we love it and it's cheap to eat for two when you share. But our luck failed because I misjudged the location and didn't want to drive another five miles to get there so we just stopped where we were and got chinese at Safeway......we should have drove the distance :( Then we went to the mall to Christmas browse. I gave Devin lots and lots of Ideas, but since Christmas, our Birthdays, Valentines Day and our Anniversary's all take place in the same time period we decided to do one big thing for all them and just make a good dinner to celebrate the day.....did I make a bad choice? Anyway, I got lots of ideas on how to decorate for Christmas! I finally will have all my stuff back! It's been in storage since last March! So we've literally been living with what we can fit in our cars since then. I miss my pretty furniture!
Oh Oh I am getting so side tracked!!! Told you I was excited to come back!!!! So we went to the mall and walked the entire joint. We first went to See's candy because I counted out all my pennies and nickels and had exactly 1.50 which is the cost of the bestest, most goodest candy bar. So we gave her our money, watched her count out the pennies and left. Haha I laughed a lot. It was great fun. Then we hit up Target and their 75% off candy section and bought 18 bucks worth of teeth rot! So good! Then we began our hunt for our first Ornament together. They didn't have a lot everywhere we went or had them for like 25 bucks. I don't think so! We finally found a kiosk that sold the kind they write on. I did find one I like there. They had one that was a mommy bear and a daddy bear and the mommy had a big bump on her belly that said baby. It was totally Cute! But I'm not a fan of bear stuff so I didn't get that one. But this is the one I did get.
So we decided on the one we wanted and the girl told us I can put your names here and put Our First Christmas here if you want. So we said Yes! Great thanks. Then she has me write our names down. Okay.....then she turns around and says can you write Christmas for me....Sure Okay maybe she doens't really celebrate it she barely speaks english.....THENNNN she turns around and says you spell first F I R S right? lol Me and Dev really tried hard to keep in our Laughter. So then I look down and saw how she wrote Christmas all slanted and falling off the snowflake. I am sad, but I guess it will remind us of when we purchased it and we can have a laugh together. So we are now finished with our mission to find our ornament so we decide it's time to head back to the car. While we were walking I see a man that looks EXACTLY like Santa Clause. I mean Beard, Cute Kris Kringle Glasses all round and quaint, and even the belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly!!! So I whisper in Dev's ear Hey look it's Santa Clause. Devin looks up and Screams!!!! MERRRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I about died!!! I couldn't believe he did that. I was about to get mad and yell at him but to my astonishment, SANTA CLAUSE LAUGHED SO LOUD HO HO HO!!!! and said Merry Christmas back. He just thought it was the most hilarious thing. So then I laughed and Hugged Devin and told him thanks for making it a fantastic Date night. And we laughed all the way back to the car. I told Devin that Santa will check his list off that we've been good this year now.
We spent the rest of the weekend cleaning our Apt, getting cars packed a little at a time and hung out with the kids and family. We were definately wiped out by the time Sunday night came. Oh not to mention I had the flu the whole time too!!! Yuck
I can't wait to see snow and get to wear scarves and hats and being all cute snow bunny!!!! With a Belly!!!!!!

Emry Devin at 23 weeks

Emry's Progress. The placenta has grown and moved to it's rightful place just above the belly button. So the tummy is looking more round. Our light in our apartment isn't good so we had a really hard time taking pictures this time?? It was weird. Anyway here ya go and......we have some more news! So some might be thinking....why is she so big already. She still has four months to go.....welllllllllllll WE"RE HAVING A GIRL TOOOOO!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH.....uhm I'm very mean....Just good old Emry for us this time around but I felt like having fun and teasing ya'll for a few seconds...I know I'm Laughing. Well we do have some news though. We have thought and prayed, long and hard for the last few weeks and discovered that we need a better plan for our situation.....Sooooo we're moving back to Utah. Devin has a mission to find a great job with Benefits there so we can set up house and be stable before baby arrives. So We're expected to Arrive the weekend after Thanksgiving. Devin will be helping his dad for few weeks then In January he'll start his new job. So yay for moving back and not having to do it all with a six week old baby. That was going to be scary. I know what you're all thinking. WE"RE CRAZY. I promise someday we'll stop changing our minds.

Halloween!!

So I hope Everyone had a Fantastic Halloween! The best Holiday ever! Except this year I was too scared to get scared...didn't wanna pop the baby out or anything, so we took it easy.....I was sad :( Anyway, Devin had to work late everyday last week so while he was waiting to finish his pick-ups I went down and we went out to a pumpkin patch and picked up some pumpkins. It was fun! Devin was very very unsure about it. He hadn't done it before and wasn't too excited to carve pumpkins like I was. But he was definitely tooting a different tune by the time we were done carving.

Anyway Thursday night when he got home late we started carving our pumpkins. Oh and before he got home I had already cut the tops off and got all the seeds and junk out of the four pumpkins so that he didn't have to waste time doing that. Can I tell you that I had blisters on my fingers! So even thought I love to carve pumpkins, I was so totally over doing it by the time he walked in the door. But the loving husband that Devin is, wouldn't let me quit so I had to carve my pumpkins. Which turned out to be great fun, minus the pain. We carved the two small pumpkins which we decided were supposed to be our "fun" ones to do whatever and not worry about looking fantastic. So what does my lovely spouse do.....CARVES A FREAKING SNOWMOBILE!!!! Did I mention to you all that he is OBSESSED!! So he takes like two hours to do the small pumpkin, which was supposed to be the fast one. He wanted to go to bed after that one.
So with my small pumkin I just started cutting and started doing a funny face which turned into a vampire with cat eyes. I thought it looked pretty cool. I showed my sister the picture and she told me it looks like the Count off Sesame Street, which it totally does. I couldn't stop laughing. I have style, NOT!!
Alright so I forgot to mention that we started off the carving party with some good ol' fashioned Martinelli's and had some scary music playing to set the mood. OH and I dressed up in a sexy costume so when he walked in the door, he dropped all his stuff on the ground. I laughed so hard. Hence why we have no pictures of the party. It was fun and I 'm sure Devin had way more fun making fun of me than anything else. Can I say it's not entirely comfortable to dress up fun when you have a basketball on your tummy. Next time I'm pregnant Im gonna be a Nun....
We were both extremely tired by this time so we went to bed and I was going to finish the pumpkins on Friday while Devin was working. Ya that didn't happen. I planned it so we could finish them when he got home, but our plans got way messed up this year because of the whole daylight savings change thing. I was headed out to go trick or treating with my sister and brother and the kids and our really good friends. But since it got dark at almost seven instead of the usual six, we got a late start. We had a fun night but I didn't end up home with Devin until about ten. I was really sad that I didn't get to spend the night watching scary movies and eating cookies with Devin. Oh well I had lots of fun with the kids.
The best part of the night was my niece who dressed up as spiderman. She as really cute. BUT what was cuter was when she said trick or treat, got her candy. Then said thank you, your pumpkin is really pretty, and opened up her bag as to say NOW GIVE ME MORE CANDY!!! I couldn't stop laughing but I was so embarrassed too!! For only being four she is definately too smart for her own good. Gotta love them kids.
So since we didn't have time to finish our pumpkins on Friday night we decided to celebrate Halloween for one more day and finish our pumpkins on Saturday, or should I say Devin decided we would and forced me to do. All my spirit was gone after Friday night. I was sooooo tired. So we finished our pumpkins and yes, Devin did ANOTHER snowmobile. I do not know what I'm going to do with this man. I tried to do a cool looking scary monster bird thing but it didn't turn out so great. Oh well. So by the time we were finished we broke all the knifes and had to resort to using steak knives to finish. It was kind of funny to watch Devin stab at his pumpkin with a huge knife, and really scary. I kept having flashes of fingers being cut off. I'm too paranoid.
Speaking of paranoid. I am starting to have more and more cravings. I woke up from a nap on Saturday mumbling that I had to have a chocolate donut with sprinkles. Devin thought I was crazy cuz I don't like chocolate donuts much. Maple is the best. So he kept asking if I really wanted one and I totally did. But I have a fear that I'm going to send him to the store to get me my cravings and some tragic accident is going to happen and it will be all my fault cuz I had to have a stupid donut. Not likely this will happen but the fear out ways and cravings. So unless I want to get up myself and go get something I'm keeping the cravings in check. Oh I've been craving Chicken Noodle Soup too. I hate soup!! So this is really funny that I want this.
I think we spent the rest of the weeked relaxing, watching movies, playing games and eating. Oh not to mention lots of sleeping. We were both really sick on sunday so we had to take turns taking care of each other. Granted my head over the toilet beats his "my tummy" hurts any day of the week so he pretty much catered to me again. It took awhile for food to settle in my tummy so I didn't eat too much. I think I'm going to loose more weight than I gain during this pregnancy. That could be bad. So Nothing else exciting is happening along the lines of baby. He's still a kickin away but Devin can't quite feel him yet. But he's still growing so he'll be able to feel it soon.
We have decided for sure His name will be Emery Devin but haven't decided on the spelling. It'll either be Emry or Emery. With Emery, the older generation is turning the name into a three syllable name and its driving me crazy! Literally! So me might drop an E so people can't confuse the way its pronounced. We'll see how we feel in four months. I can't believe that's all I have left! I think we'll take tummy pictures again in a week or so. I don't feel like I'm getting bigger so it'll just look like the last picture.
Oh some exciting news! Devin's Brother Darren and Sister in-law Mandi, Had their baby on Friday. How cool to have a Halloween Baby! His name is Trayden Darren Anderson and was 6 pounds five ounces and 19 incehs. Such a small baby!!! They are all doing great from what I've heard from Devin.
That's All Folk's!!

Crazy Crazy!!

Not too much has been happening in the Anderson Household of late. Our landlord returned from Hawaii and got our shower fixed....hopefully. Fingers crossed. He felt so bad about the problem that he gave us a $50 Gift Card to this really expensive restaurant in our area. So we were looking for something to do on Saturday and decided to go for dinner. Okay can I tell you that I was NOT expecting to be going to dinner or anything. We just decided to go like ten minutes after he gave us the card. So we left the house and found the restaurant. I got out of the car and realized I WAS IN MY SWEATS!!! I looked so grubby! So we're walking in and there are people EVERYWHERE in their prom gowns and cocktail dresses and tuxes. I was embarrassed but we were starving! So we got seated in the back which has windows galore!!! The restaurant is located on a hillside overlooking the Bay here in Washington facing the west. So we ordered our food and sat and watched the sun go down. It was totally romantic! I couldn't have even imagined us getting to do something like that. Devin isn't exactly the romantic idea planner type guy....STEVE PLEASE HELP HIM!!! Oh and the food!!!!! It was soooooooo sooooo good. Devin got a 12 ounce rib eye steak and I got my chicken parmesian with fettecine alfredo. It was sooooooo good. Man I wanna go back but I would never ever spend that much money on food. So I was really grateful to get to spend the evening with my husband. Holding hands and talking. I love him so much. He is so dang sweet. He pampered me all day Sunday because I was in a lot of pain. I wish I would have had my camera with us this weekend, the sun was shining and it was beautiful!! Devin just got home so I'm officially distracted!! I CAN"T WAIT FOR HALLOWEEN!!!

Finally Some Time!

Alrighty, All our Good News...
Here is a picture of our sweet baby boy. He really loves to move around and throw his head back! We were really lucky to have him moving around so much during the ultrasound. So we got a very good profile picture or him. We have a name picked out for him but I change my mind every other day as to whether I like it or not so I'm going to keep it a secret for now. Our due date is still around March 4th, which is the day Devin came home from his Mission, so he's excited to see if he's going to arrive that day.

I had Devin take a picture of my Belly just for Barbara...she's been begging to see it. And now that I have one, I don't mind showing everyone! It's exciting to finally have a tummy so people know why you are throwing up and looking like you just fell off a bus every day. Yes it's a cheese picture, but eh that's me. So I am 21 weeks now. It's weird that it goes by really fast when it seems like time is standing still. I have about four months left. Now that's just crazy!!!

So being pregnant....it's nothing like anyone tells you it's going to be. You can read a ton of books and most will tell you the same things with little variance, but the most important part is that NO ONE has any idea what your pregnancy will be like. Mine, seems to be exactly opposite of what they say it should be. They all say that the second trimester is supposed to be the best. You have the most energy, you stop throwing up, and other married things get better. But let me tell you this is not the case for me. Though the back ache disappeared for awhile, the throwing up never stopped. And I have absolutely no appetite. Not because I'm afraid of it coming back up, just never ever hungry. I eat less now than I did non-pregnant. Believe me, this scares me. Especially when you go to buy maternity clothes and you find that you are now a size four instead of the eight you were before you were knocked up. JUST WEIRD!!! I also have no energy. This could be because I've been sick, but I haven't experienced the boost of energy yet. Just the urge to sleep forever. Which I practically do most days. Sad to say...I feel lazy. Devin has been really great though. He makes sure that I'm eating and lets me stay in bed as much as I can. Which really is a blessing. It hurts to much to get out of bed, walk downstairs, search and cook food, then feel so sick that I couldn't stand the thought of eating. So I drink a glass of milk and go back upstairs, cry and fall asleep. Yes very sad. Oh that brings me to another subject.....EMOTIONS!!!

Seriously being pregnant just plain makes you stupid and crazy in your husband eyes. Or at least make you feel that way. I cannot remember anything for the life of me. Or pay attention long enough to have any clue what anyone is talking about or asking me. As for the crazy, I had one day in particular that I woke up and wanted nothing to do with Devin. He was annoying me so much that I just wanted him far far away from me. Then about thirty minutes later, He couldn't be close enough. I needed him hugging me constantly. Like holding my hand just wasnt good enough. Then thirty minutes later I'd be annoyed again and pushing him away. Okay so this went on thee ENTIRE day! With a few spells of crying for no reason because a book or show was making me sad. Suffice to say Devin just stared at me with questioning eyes like "who are you and what did you do with my wife?" I'm crazy!!

So a few things that no one really talks about....
For women, we pretty much spend our entire lives trying to loose weight and look good. One of the weirdest things for me so far has been to step on a scale. Where for once, you don't feel guilty when you see you weigh more! Can I tell you that its an amazing feeling! Its the one time in your life that the pressure is off your shoulders to be thin! Granted I still look at myself in the mirror and think, Will I even look the same? Or walk through stores knowing that all the pretty clothes in it may never fit. I spend a lot of time getting excited for all the things I can't wait to do once Im not pregnant anymore....
Snowmobiling, snow and water skiing, rollercoasters, motorcycles, HIGH HEELS!! Lots of other things that I can't remember anymore...

okay I hate to admit this but I've lost my trains of thought so that's all I've got for Preggo time.

Oh ya in the background is our messy new apartment. I haven't finished unpacking yet so some stuff is just sitting around still. But I really just don't care anymore. So it can just sit. But about our apartment. Me moved in finally last Thursday. Its a studio apartment that is furnished so we didn't have to worry about finding a bed to sleep on etc. So it was really awesome that we found this place. Not to mention our Landlord is LDS and graduated from Utah State. Small world!!

We spend Saturday at a Snow Show Expo. It's pretty much Heaven for Devin these days. He LOVES snowmobiling and the show was all about snowmobiling. They had all the new sleds for the different brands, and trailers, and all the crazy accessories people can think of that they need. Plus it was a swap meet so random people just had lots of random things. Im very thankful to say that we walked about with only spending 2.50 on scones. Which are really really good, but are usually only around during the fair is September. So I was really excited to have one. YUM YUM! Devin is in the process though of buying another snowmobile so he's literally on the computer all day long. Which is another reason it's taken a while for me to post. I was never allowed on the computer longer than two minutes to check email, if that.

Devin just started working again on Monday. Though he wanted to try something new, He's running a Fedex route in the Olympia area. It's a lot easier that what he was doing in Wyoming so hopefully it keeps going well. I am looking for a part time job for the next few months to have extra money for baby. Granted I really don't want to work. But sitting at home doing nothing is ten times more boring so I'll be working :)

Hmmmm Nothing else seems to be going on that's exciting so I guess this'll be my sign off. Hope everyone is doing great and We miss you ALL!!!

Rachel's First Blog

Okay so I have to admit, this is scary to do! I'm all grown up and don't know how to create a blog, how sad is that. So I hope this turns out well, let me know if I've done something wrong.

So Devin and Rachel's Life? We've been married for six months yesterday! Time really does fly! We celebrated by going to a buffet because Devin loves to eat! Then we played with our Niece, Samantha, 4, and Nephew, Avery 21 months, at the park. We fed ducks and got chased by geese. Those suckers are scary! They will beak you to death! Then played at the playground and beach. It was a beautiful day in the Sun in Washington. Oh I guess I should mention we moved to Washington.

So we decided to pack up and move to Washington for the next 7 months to try things out. Devin is looking for a new job away from the Fedex business so we'll see how that turns out. I hope he finds something he will love doing! I am searching for an apt for us to live in too. It's fun! I'm excited to finally have our first place together! So for now we are running errands and going to the doctor which is the main reason we came. Oh I think I forgot to mention that we are pregnant!

I estimate myself to be at 18 weeks today but am not completely sure. My first official doctor visit is tomorrow so I'll keep ya updated on the result! We think it's a boy so we'll see if the whole mother's intuition is really true. Being pregnant has really been crazy! I feel bad most of the time for Devin because he's had to be working and catering to the whims of a pregnant person at the same time. Believe me that can be hard. My first couple months I was put on bed rest. I wasn't allowed to walk or stand for more than ten minutes and couldn't lift more than ten pounds. It was so frustrating not to be allowed to do anything! And believe me, I wasn't allowed. I got yelled at a lot. oops :) I eventually learned to listen. Then the morning sickness kicked in about the time the doctors tell you it's supposed to be stopping. So I guess I'm having a backwards pregnancy. It's definately a unique and exciting time in life. Lots of emotions and changes for sure and I am sooooooo very happy that I get to do it all with my BEAUTIFUL HUSBAND!! Man is he gorgeous with a kid in his arms! Okay I know some people get obsessed with talking about being pregnant so I'll try to keep it to a minimum. TRY!

So besides the current status of our life we had a few other things happen. We flew to Kentucky to pick up a Fed-Ex truck for Devin's dad and drove it back to Wyoming. The drive was beautiful and we got to meet some very interesting people. We definately didn't experience any of the southern hospitality we hear about. However we did get to stop in Kansas and visit some great friends that are going to school there. We had a blast! We miss them so much. They are so good and making our sides hurt with laughter. So we stayed for the night and talked a lot and caught up on life. We went out to eat at a Mongolian Buffet and the Steve and Devin got to eat a lot of food. No wonder they are friends! Anna and I got to talk a lot about being Newlyweds and compare secrets. We played Catch Phrase the rest of the night which is SOOOO FUN! Then slept and continued Driving. So in the past week we've drove 2400 miles! Crazy!!!!

I can't think of much else that's exciting so I'll get some pictures up soon and keep on playing to get the blog looking pretty!
