Too Long!!

So I've been a mighty big slacker when it comes to bloging. In the beginning I felt like I had nothing to talk about and tons of pictures. I'll tell you what! That's all. I just told you. JK we've been listening to Bill Ingoll lately. Sorry. Anyway When you think you have nothing to write about then one thing happens and then another and another and pretty soon you have a month's worth of things to write about and show. Then trying to remember everything that happened!

Well I'll just start with Fourth of July weekend since it's the last thing I remember. We went to Logan to spend time with both our Families. We spent the weekend going water skiing, watching fireworks, and going to the Cruise In, which is a big car show there. We spent Friday night with my mom in her new tent trailer then Saturday night we stayed at his parents house before we left to go back to Wyoming. We had a fun weekend and were really sore after skiing.

The next weekend Devin's father brought the boat over to Wyoming so we all went down to Flaming Gorge and went Skiing and Tubing at the lake. It was incredibly windy so it wasn't as fun as we had hoped and we didn't get too much skiing in. There will always be other weekends we hope....

This last weekend was the company party. Devin's father got us all tickets to see George Strait and Julianne Hough out in Cheyenne. So we took our babies to Utah to be watched by Grandma's then drove across the whole state of Wyoming to Cheyenne and watched the show. We had dinner at Applebee's which was so yummy. Then we drove back home on Sunday and went to get out little Tyke! It was such a nice break to not have to worry about Emry for a day, but boy did we miss him. Originally I wasn't planning on being able to go to the Concert because Emry has been refusing a bottle for about a month now. But I finally just had to let him cry till he was starving enough to take one, then he decided not to have a problem anymore so I was able to go. It was definitely hard to be away from your baby when you're breastfeeding. It definitely got in the way of all the fun that could of been had.

So that's a catch up of all the weekend fun we've been having.

During the week we spend most of our time hanging out with each other, playing Mario kart with Barbs and Jers and doing things with friends from our ward. There are a bunch of crazy kids that we just love to hang out with out here. Our pool finally opened up out here so we had a group FHE last Monday so all the kids got to come and play. Hey there's a great enticement for all our friends in Utah to come visit us out here!!! Anyone like Emerson Drive?? They're coming here in two weeks and it's only 8 bucks!!! Come play with us!!

Also Devin was called to the Second Counselor in the Elders quorum so he's been a busy bee working on all his duties. I was called to teach in Relief Society. Definitely a scary calling for me but maybe it'll turn out to be really fun. Na, I'm deathly afraid!!! I have to teach this Sunday.

Friday nights we started doing a paper route. It's actually kind of fun. We take turns. Devin does one section then I do our apartment building. So we do about two hundred and fifty and it goes super fast.

We also are starting up our business finally. I'll be doing the cleaning for the apartment complex we live in. I'm mulling it over whether I want to do some marketing and get a little more business from the surrounding area. I don't know how much work I actually want to do thought. It's pretty much just to pay off all my old stupid school loans so we'll keep ya updated.

Emry is Almost FIVE MONTHS OLD!!! He's such a fun baby with such a growing personality. He now rolls over, scoots across the floor, throws up a ton since he's moving so much and being active! and sometimes sleeps through the night. We finally started letting him cry himself to sleep and after only two nights he no longer cries. We just lay him in his crib and he rolls over and goes to sleep. It's great!!! He had a few weeks that were really terrible. We thought he was teething so he was just cranky and grumpy all the time. Then he went to his Dr and got his tongue clipped so he was even more grumpy and bleeding. Then he got his shots so he was even more cranky, grumpy, bleeding, AND had a 103 degree fever. Poor little man and poor little Mommy who got no sleep at all. But he's doing better now so fingers crossed he keeps it up.

16 weeks

Happy 3 Month Birthday Emry!

Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU!!!! We can't believe how big you've gotten and how much your perdonality changes every day! You complete our loves and we can't wait for every single smile, sad face, fury eyebrow, wrinkled forhead, screech you give us!!

K so the last few weeks we've been up to a ton of things. Once I got home from Seattle we moved into our new apartment. I've spent a ton of time unpacking but it never seems to finish. I have yet to clean so I can put up decorations. I still need to re organize the furniture so Emry is in a rooms with curtains so he'll sleep in. But this weekend is devoted to all this so hopefully by Monday I can get some great pictures up of our new Home and New Family Pictures.



The next weekend we went to Utah for Devin's family reunion at Lagoon. Emry was a little sick so he only spent a half day with us in the park. We had fun though. Devin got to spend a lot of time doing the Dragsters and Go Karts. He had a lot of fun! Then We took Emry back to my mom's and we went back to Lagoon to spend more time with his Family. We watched his Dad do a few rides and the cars too. Then rode a few ourselves before the park closed.

The next week we went back and forth trying to decide what we were going to do for Memorial Weekend. We were either going to St George/Vegas or My mom's house cuz she was in Nebraska for her Family Reunion. We ended up going to St George. We left here around five on friday and arrived at Devin's brother Darrell's and his wife Gina's house around 12:30 am. We went to Vegas the next day and walked around and showed Devin a little bit of what the city is about. We ate at a very very expensive buffet. Very expensive! Then went back to St. George. On sunday we drove down to Mesquite to visit my Dad at his new house. We went out to lunch then went swimming at their pool that's part of the housing community. Then went back to Darrell's. Darrell was sick when we got there. Devin got sick a few hours later. I got sick on our drive back on Monday, and Gina got sick Monday night. We have absolutely no clue how or what we were all sick with. It definately sucks to take care of a baby and not be able to take care of yourself. Poor Emry.

Now we're back and hopefully going to catch up on life because the next few months are going to be filled with water skiing, dr apppointments, camping, which are all fun fun trips to utah. We're starting to hate the drive again and wish for the weekends we get to sit and do nothing but relax at home. Now that we love where we are living, we enjoy being home again. It's so fantastic. But sad at the same time that I'm excited to return to WYOMING!!! Oh well, I officially have to say I'm a resident now.

He is growing up too dang fast!!! He changes every time you look at him I swear! I haven't written for awhile. Life has been completely crazy. Two weeks ago Devin and I went to the temple and were sealed! It was beautiful, we could not have asked for anything better. We love each other so dang much. A lot of his family and a couple of my friends were able to join us. We really love them all and very much thanks for coming!!!

This last week I want out to Seattle for my niece's birthday party. She just turned five!! It's crazy to think that. It was a good trip and Emry was able to meet his uncles, cousins, and Grandpa. It was a long trip however. I didn't get to see Devin for six days. way wayway way way tooooooo long. I missed him soo soooo much. Then once I got back, his brother, Darren and Mandi were finally able to move into their apartment in our complex. So great big yay but it kept my husband from me for two more evenings. So tonight we finally get to spend some time together. Though I am very very sick. It always happens after I see my Niece and Nephew. You'd think I'd learn. So apart from the 102.9 degree temperature, my bleeding throat and my body so incredibly sore, it hurts to wear clothes sore!, and weak that I can't really hold my baby which he's not happy about......ok i have no idea what i was gonna say beyond all that. I just needed to complain, oh ya and the throwing up!!! not not fun. I've learned my lesson. No more airplanes and traveling till Emry is a little older. maybe and Devin is coming with me. I have lots and lots of pictures to post but my internet doesn't work. It's taken me three days to get this posted I think. I had to re do it twice! So annoying. Anyway I'll post pics as time allows. A lot more has happened but I can't remember any of it so sorry. We love you all and can't wait to see you all, so lets make plans.

Emry 6 Weeks Pictures

Emry's Grandma took him to get some great pictures done over this Easter weekend. I love love love them! Granted they didn't do too great of a job editing them, so I tried to fix what I could be here ya go. Oh and Emry double the amount he eats in a sitting. He now smiles and laughs at you, stays awake so so much, and holds his head up so great! He started doing all this on Friday while we were at Grandma's. Today when Daddy was leaving, Emry smiled so dang big! It was so perfectly priceless. Devin had a very very very hard time leaving us after that! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I will try and post again soon but it's time for taxes now.
