Emry 32 Weeks

I'm not counting down or anything.....
We still haven't retrieved our camera from wherever it's hiding in Logan so I have the ultrasound pictures from my doctor visit on Monday. If you look at the top picture enough times, you'll start to see Devin in the baby's features! Cool Huh! Devin was able to come to the visit and meet our doctor so I was very happy about that. I go back again on the 19Th. We're definitely getting closer to truly amazing changes!! I'm so excited!
On the news front, Devin started working today. Yes, he's back at FedEx. He doesn't enjoy the job but he got the route he wanted at the pay he wanted so hopefully that makes up for me making him go back to FedEx. I'm a lot less stressed knowing he has a job while he looks for whatever he really wants to do. Well as long as I don't have to buy any more snowmobiles.
My mother lives down in American Fork currently but is buying a house close to where we live in Clearfield so I am super excited to have help so close by when the baby comes. I am extremely scared of being a first time Momma without my own Momma there to tell what the heck to do with a baby!
Other that this still being the sick season, not too much else has happened. We did finally make our first of the expensive baby purchases. We got a Graco infant car seat. I love it! We figured if we buy the expensive things one at a time we won't notice the big hit to the income as much.....fingers crossed that we actually don't notice...ya I know
We went down to West Valley last night to have dinner with some of my girlfriends at Applebee's. It was so much fun!! I am trying my hardest to get in as much time with people now because I know I won't want to go anywhere once we have to lug around baby crap along with our own stuff. At least for the first couple months.
Things I'm looking forward to:
My sister coming to visit in March
My mom moving closer
No more weird alien feelings in my tummy
To hug Devin without being two feet away from him cuz of the basketball in my tummy
To walk without waddling
Not being HOT anymore
Be able to take my allergy pills without worrying
Fitting into my old clothes
Cuddle with my husband in bed without feeling a pull on my sides
To hold my little baby in my arms.
Things I'll miss:
Being able to chew things that are cold. I have uniquely super sensitive teeth normally.
Having whatever food I want and still loose weight
I'll still be missing actually having sleep
I guess I won't be missing all that much! 8 MORE WEEKS!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Well the end of the year went by very quickly for Devin and I. We spent time at his parents and my mothers house over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was great to hang out and relax and eat some really really good food!! I do have some pictures but Devin has misplaced(Hopefully!) our camera. We spent the rest of the week looking for non-existent jobs for Devin. Seriously NO ONE is hiring. Not even the usual places you can count on like Convergys and Call centers!! We went to employment agency one after another. Devin would walk in and be handed a business card and come back out with NOTHING!!! I was astonished! Nothing!!!. I guess there are jobs out there but without ten years of experience in dough making, you're out of luck. Yes that really is a job DOUGH MAKING!!!
So that's been our exciting last few days. We bought our vacuum finally so we spent last night cleaning up and organizing the apartment a little more and took down our Christmas tree. Oh man does it feel better to have clean floors and a little more open space! I can't wait to get all our pictures and curtains hung up. Less stuff in boxes=more space!!! We fell asleep early and set an alarm to watch the ball drop which I missed because I couldn't open my eyes. Ironic huh. Then I kissed my husband and attempted to go back to sleep......ha ha I wish!! 5 am was soon around the corner and I sent my husband off to snowmobile again. I hope he's having fun.
I hope everyone is excited for a new year that will definitely be bringing lots of changes. One thing that keeps playing over and over again in my mind is we don't know how much time we have left to enjoy our lives and the many blessings we have. I am very thankful for my beautiful growing family, my friends, and the Gospel. Without these I would be in a hole. Probably a very clean hole, but still a hole. I love you all. Thank you for being a part of our lives. :)

Emry 30 Weeks...

So Devin finally brought the camera home on Sunday so we were able to take some pictures. It's funny that he's kept the camera the past like two weeks so he could have it for snowmobiling and he totally forgot to even take it with him on Saturday. I love my husband!!! Anyway, I was really sad this time because it's been three weeks and my tummy looks smaller!!! Definitely not the way you want to feel when you're increasingly feeling huge and can barely walk, yes I totally waddle now. Devin thinks it's hilarious. I however, do not. So you can tell that the tummy isn't as round as it used to be. He's starting to migrate down to get ready to come out. Even though we're like 8-10 weeks away from his debut. But he's still doing great!

Nothing else exciting has happened with us. It's been snowing like crazy so I've been holed up in my house since I'm way too scared to drive during the storms. But I have lots to do in the next couple days so I'm getting excited to be drained of all my energy!! Hope Everyone is enjoying the Holidays!

One More Week!!

I am getting so excited for Christmas!!! I can't wait to share our first Christmas together. I just finished Devin's present up so I just need to wrap it up before he gets home on Saturday. It's nothing crazy but something really really cute. He already got a new snowmobile and new snow pants so he doesn't get anymore presents for a very very very long time. But he's gonna love what I made him. I'll put a picture up on Christmas of him opening it up YAY!!!

So besides Christmas stuff, I have been up in Logan a few times in the past week and got the chance to hang out with some of my Bestfriends that I haven't seen in forever. Last week Barbara and I went out to Angie's and had some breakfast then Devin arrived and we spend the afternoon play Mario Kart and World Tour. Devin is so good at Mario Kart. It won't be long til he convinces me we have to have the game. He loves it!

We spent the weekend with our family pretty much. We had our brother and sister and their little Trayden over on Friday for Dinner and Wii time. The boys were so intense! The mom's just kicked back and talked the night away. Literally! Then we went down to Sandy on Sunday for Trayden's blessing. It was great! Devin freaked out officially about becoming a Father. Mainly because in three months he'll be doing the blessing. It was so cute! His face has never been so red. I wish I got a picture of that moment! After the blessing we got to visit our good friends Suzanne and Trent who live right next to Sandy. I hadn't seen them since our reception! It has been so great to be back in Utah and catch up with all the people I love so much!!!

That brings us to this week: Yesterday I went up to Logan again with Liesel and Lacie to visit Barbara again and take her out for her Graduation Lunch! We are extremely proud of her. I have never seen someone work so hard and be so organized all through college! Time really does fly by. We have all known each other since our freshman year 2003. Crazy!!! I love the girls and can't wait for our next get together!
Here's a picture I stole from Barbara's blog :)
From the Left: Me, Barbs, Liesel, Lacie and baby Saylor.

I Just found this picture of us all back in the Summer of 2004. Crazy!!! Barbs had just started dating her husband kind of but didn't want to admit it. I was working in Disneyworld and Liesel was working at Hogi Yogi with Barbara. I have no clue what Lacie was doing about that time?

I am 29 weeks now so I am still counting down! Devin has the camera for Snowmobiling this weekend so I have no belly shots, sorry! Next week I'll get one in and maybe it'll look like I've grown. I don't feel much bigger like I did last time but I never know. I see myself from a different angle.
Well I hope everyone is enjoying the snow and the Holiday season. I can't wait for next week and all the fun dates we have with friends and family!! YAY

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

So yesterday it snowed! It was the first time for me this season. I decided I don't think I'll enjoy driving in it this year and will be a lot more scared to walk around. Pregnancy=clumsy! But I was so happy to see a little bit of white on the ground.

This past week I actually go to see Devin more than I thought. I spend Monday and Tuesday up in Logan and ended up going down to Sandy on Tuesday night with Devin to help our brother and sister pack up and move. Then I drove Devin back to Logan on Wednesday morning then came back home to sleep. TOO MUCH DRIVING!!! But it was fun to hang out with the Mandi and the baby and watch the boys do all the work.

Then on Wednesday, we had the opportunity to go to the Jazz game. It was my first time so I was so excited! My step dad's boss had a box reserved for their work Christmas party so we got to sit in a more quiet, comfortable box and have catered food and drinks. It was awesome! It felt nice to actually feel like a VIP for a day....even though we are SO not. We lost the game but it was still intense to watch. Then Devin went back up to work Thursday morning and came back Friday after work since there wasn't enough snow for them to go sledding yet.

Then we spent the rest of the weekend cleaning and relaxing. We got our Christmas tree up and decorated! I pretty much just watched Devin do it because all the spinning around the tree to hang the lights would have made me very sick. Then Devin took pictures and we enjoyed a Christmas movie. It was very relaxing and fun. On Sunday my mom came to visit and I cooked Lasagna for dinner. It was great to have her over! Yet very very weird! I'm all grown up now!

Then we broke out the Wii, made homemade ice-cream for Devin and then watched Desperate Housewives and crashed.

Yesterday I finally found a doctor and one that I loved! I got some more pictures of Emry and a DVD of the ultrasound but unfortunately I can't get them onto the blog. But that's okay because it was all in 4-d so he looks a little scary right now. But he's 2 pounds 6 ounces right now so he's a growing! I go back in January so we'll see how much he changes by then!!! Maybe those pictures will turn out better and I can find a way to get them to a digital photo. Well I think that's all for the Anderson's. Keep praying for more snow so the boys and girls can play in the mountains!!!

Emry 27 Weeks

So I'll be 27 weeks on Wednesday!! It's going by really fast yet really slow! We took the picture a few days early because Devin is over in Logan working until Christmas. Can I tell you how much I don't like not having my husband here with me especially at night. I'm a chicken now! That and I can't lift anything so I feel like I'm useless. Oh well. Only three an a half weeks.
Anyway when we took this picture and looked at it we both went WHOA!!! Devin can see me everyday so he doesn't notice me getting bigger and I can't really see at all expect looking down which doesn't give ya much of an idea of what I really look like. Anyway, now I know why I'm definitely feeling way more tired and Everything is SO much tighter! Emry jumps around like crazy and we can now see an alien poking around and making my tummy looks like a bowl of jello. It's so weird! Like and alien inside me making my tummy jump. Our new game is putting the remote on my tummy and see how long it take to get thrown off. It's funny.

We got to go down and visit our Brother and Sister in-law this last week even though I've been sick. I didn't hold him much to be safe but I got a picture of Devin with Tray. Can I tell you that I am SO lucky cuzDevin is a natural with babies. He knew how to hold him and how to hold him in different ways to make him stop crying. I just stared and then freaked out because I was SO nervous holding Tray. I was scared of breaking him. He is so little. I have never held a baby under 8 pounds and Tray is almost 7 pounds now and he's a month old!!! Anyway it was adorable to see my husband being such a good daddy. It made me feel truly blessed to find such a fantastic partner for eternity. I can't wait!! 3 MORE MONTHS!!!

Besides that, we've been unpacking and organizing the new apartment. I'll put picture up once the place doesn't look like a hurricane hit it with boxes. It's close to being done though so ya'll won't have to wait too long. It's been exciting though. So far we have lost a remote to a TV and a bag that has some of my underwear and lingerie type stuff, not that I can wear it. And some of my maternity stuff. So I am sad that its gone!! I can't believe we can't find it!!! I hope it turns up soon.
We bought our Christmas tree and stockings on Saturday too! Along with a glider for the baby. So one thing down, four hundred to go!!

Hope Everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekends!! We had a long day but I'll let Devin post about that one because it was a super exciting day for him.
