Baby Girl Anderson

Here's our baby girl!

To me these pictures are so totally gross looking but there she is. She's not sucking her thumb but has her hand up to her mouth. She has been like this in every on of the the ultrasounds so far. In the picture that I have of Emry like this, it's gross too, but now when I look at it after he was born, it really does look like him. So hard to imagine that my baby girl will kind of resemble this image someday.


This is my favorite picture. It cracks me up every single time cuz of the arrow and GIRL! lol we've known forever that she's a girl because man is she NOT shy. She has them spread every single ultrasound too. The technician was all.....oh man you better keep watch on this girl!!!



And of course the cute feet picture. I'm getting very excited to have a girl finally! Not to play dress up and make her girly and stuff but just to have something different then so much freaking testosterone around.

We don't have a name and in all reality we probably won't until the baby comes. Devin doesn't seem to want to give us the time of day to even discuss looking for names so if that keeps up then I'll be naming her and he'll have to deal.

Pregnancy is going good for the most part. Since our furnace got fixed and we aren't being poisened anymore, I haven't been throwing up or had migraines. I have been forgetting most days that I'm pregnant. However that has come to and end. I swear she grew twice the size overnight and gained a severe kick and punch. She sits really low so it's very painful to have her moving around so much. Emry was up much higher and never really kicked my ribs. It always felt like he stuck his arm up between my ribs and wiggled it around like you would in water that would make waves inside me. Just uncomfortable but not nearly as painful as when this girl moves.

We are 23 weeks and a few days now so we're getting closer. It was going by very fast but at the second seems slow. I have had to drive to Utah literally every single week for the past five weeks. I get three weeks off and I'm very excited! Mostly because......

Emry is fine! He had a couple visits to primary's hospital and this last visit the Dr called back and said he couldn't find the hole. I am very happy though I have no idea what that means for his heart murmur which he definitely has? Just very happy no surgury!!!! He had a rough day after the hospital and it was very hard for me to see my baby unconsious but he's a champ!

So no we're counting down the days until May, we have a lot going on until then, Devin's birthday is this week, then Emry at the end of the month, then our anniversaries, not that they'll be anything special because Devin won't even remember or care but at least we'll mark off one more year. Then the baby will be here to meet us! Happy Day

Sorry this turned into my journal reading but I haven't gotten this down anywhere else so sorry about the boring blog!

Leave it to me to make a joke to start but there ya go. Extra points if you knew that was from Harry Potter.

On Friday I took Emry to Primary Childrens Hospital to have his Heart Murmur checked out. He's had it since he was born and it never went away like all the doctors thought it would. Sadly it progressively got worse and he rose up a couple stages( kind of like cancer one being mild curable cancer to 5 being it's spread throughout your body). There are a lot bigger scale than five numbers though for the heart since there are different chambers etc. Anyway he got a couple tests done and the Cardiologist listened to his heart and has determined that Emry has a hole in his heart.
DEVESTATION hits me. I wasn't expecting that but I kept my composer and didn't cry. I have to take him back on my birthday(25th) for him to have a sedated echocardiogram done to find out the location and size of the hole. Depending on those results, we'll know when he'll need to have surgury and what kind. I'm so sad. I don't want my baby boy to have heart surgury. I feel like I have failed. Like drinking stupid Dr. Pepper when I was pregnant caused this. Ugh I hate this feeling. The tears are coming so I better end this blog.

Winter Wonderland

I decided that I should blog a little before Christmas becaue I might forget after so here's a little of what we've been doing around here. Daddy got out his snowmobile winter gear and was going through it to see what's mysteriously disappeared this year and Emry picked up Daddy's old helmet(he got a new one for Christmas). Daddy put the helmet on and Mommy and Daddy spent the next ten minutes laughing their head off as their kid TRIED to stand up and walk. I got the end on video. Oh so funny!!

Then they went outside to play in the snow(first accumulation that hasn't blown away this year). It did blow away a coupld hours later though.

This last weekend we had a ward christmas party and Emry got to meet Santa. Devin prepped Emry while they were in line trying to show that Santa was fun and that the kids loved him. Well he was very unsure and I got this picture milliseconds before........

This happened....True to your first meeting with Santa, Emry screamed and Candy didn't even fix it til he ran for daddy.

This is our house in snow. I just realized that our Christmas lights fell off last night during the storm :( It snowed Saturday night about 8 inches and then Sunday night about another 4. It had begun to melt on Sunday when it warmed up so now our street is just one big frozen lake. It's so bad that our neighbor directly across from us, drove his truck into the house at the end of the street. We don't know what happened yet, he didn't try to turn around the corner so we think he had a seizure and hit the gas. Scary!

Emry got to play with one of his Christmas presents early. He absolutely loves anything risky and dangerous. Daddy dragged him around the yard and made jumps for him to go flying off from. oh how he loves to scare mommy. Daddy even made a snow slide for Emry. Man they had fun

Devin has one more week of craziness with Fedex then hopefully it will slow down and they will all get a break from long days. We don't have any great plans for Christmas yet. My dad is coming through town so we might head to Utah to see him, not sure yet. But then the next couple weeks will be full of Dr appointments and hopefully we'll be able to take Emry to Primary's to get his heart stuff checked out. Fingers crossed it's all perfect!

Name Poll

So I hate looking for names.....the Dr thinks the baby is a girl though it's VERY early to know for sure but we've started on our name search. These aren't our top names or for sure picks but so far we kind of like them. So we did a poll to the right, so choose which one you vote for and help us make up our minds!

Life is boring now, I'm studying for my last test this week and then I'll have a break until January. I don't know what I'll do with my time? Oh ya clean the house and do the MANY projects I haven't had enough time or energy to do. If Emry cooperates. Devin is crazy busy at work so we barely see him, most nights Emry doesn't even get to. Sad. But hopefully he'll get a break after Christmas and just MAYBE he'll remember what I wanted for Christmas( a romantic gettaway that he FULLY plans and surprises me with baby free). I'm not getting my hopes us. He's a dreadful romantic but we'll see.

Emry is getting better finally but still not sleeping and crying a lot. Just weird he's so sad. Miss's his daddy.

Time flies....

Now to play catch up. The most recent activity for us was Halloween. Emry got to participate in so much this year and he had a blast. Not to mention so much candy that he turned into a stinker when he knew he was getting some. We were able to attend an event they had downtown here is Rock Springs, a Church Party and the Trunk or Treat. Emry loved his costume(giraffe) and had so much fun with his friends. I am sad to say that this is the only picture I got but at least it's a stinking good one!

A couple weekends ago we took Emry to Devin's parents house(so Devin could work) and Emry could try out the new sled. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Just like his daddy. He didn't want to get off. I'd say they spend an hour out there fixing and playing on that thing. Oh I am sooooo scared for the future Emry riding alone!


And even longer ago(Sept) Devin and I drove down to St. George and picked up his brother and sister and went to Disneyland. It was a ton of fun and I loved seeing Disney again. Devin hadn't been since diapers so it was fun to tell him the stories of Disney that I knew and go on rides. Being five weeks pregnant didn't suit me well in the heat and roller coasters though. I wasn't doing too great near the end. I just wanted to be home and in bed. I especially liked seeing Disney with Halloween themes. Some of the rides were WAY better the Halloween version and should stay that way ALWAYS!

That's all I have pictures for so unfortunately that's all that I remember that we've done. I am 11 weeks pregnant and definately showing(which sucks). The first time around, all I wanted was to show so people knew I was preggers. Not this time. I just want to be skinny again, well not skinny just minus those 14 pounds I gained the month before we got pregnant. Stupid thyroid problem! Ugh Oh well. We'll keep you updated(hopefully) when we find out the sex in January.

FINALLY THE GOOD NEWS!!!

It's official. We're pregnant! We started trying back in January, then took a hiatus in April while we were buying the house then started up again in June. So after many months of literally aching and hurting to have another baby we are! I couldn't be more happy and true to Devin's colors, he's already freaking out about Finances.....he totally reminds me of Jackson from Gilmore girls! Ha! My first feeling I had about the new baby was when I went into Emry's room when he woke up from his nap(about 2 minutes after I tested) to tell him. My mommy power say's it's a girl and her name is Ellie. Don't get me wrong. Everyone's first thought is your crazy and you don't know and don't get your hopes up etc. Well I want a boy because that would make life WAY easier and I'm a little scared of having a girl so i dunno. When we found our we were pregnant the first time I knew it was a boy named Emry in the time it took me to walk down the hallway from the bathroom to the bedroom so we'll see how it turns out this time. So our tentative due date i believe is May 27th-ish.
I'm still in a little bit of shock.OH!
The cutest part is when I called to tell Devin the news, our song was playing on the radio. It was a sign :)
The only weird thing that I have noticed so far that could have been a sign for pregnancy was one morning I woke up out of a dead sleep and wanted toast with rainbow chip frosting on it instead of butter and some cinnamon and sugar. And you heat it up for like 5 seconds. It's actually VERY good it tastes like a cinnamon roll! YUMMY and the second thing is the past three days I have had such bad pain in my abdomen that feels like I'm having contractions again. But thats all and I have no clue if that's normal but we're super excited!
