Summer 2012

I really need to blog more often. Life is still super crazy. We got to be home this weekend so we get to work on the yard. Someday it'll be finished. This summer's project is to finish the side yards of the house. We'll have before and after pictures I hope. Other than that it's just been a lot of work work work and hopefully I'll be done with FedEx in a couple more weeks.
Picture I took of the kids today so we'd have an up to date one at least.
For Memorial day we flew out to Washington to visit my dad and his newly finished Cabin. We had a ton of fun hanging out and spending time with the family. We can't wait to go back(minus the virus we all got. The return trip was 24 hours from HELL literally)

Yes this really is a CABIN lol

Emry fell asleep witha french fry in his mouth. Tired little man

Shell crazy happy girl

I don't remember why she was unhappy. Probably the hair!

Just another baby girl picture. I don't remember to take enough.

Last weekend we were out at the Lake in Utah for Devin's family reunion. The kids had a lot of fun. Unfortunately Devin got hurt at work and had stitches in his leg so he wasn't allowed to water ski. He spent most of his time sleeping on the floor of his mom's camper.
A few weeks before that we were in Utah again so I could see one of my best friends brand new baby girl She is soooooo beautiful! While we were there we got to go out on Devin's dad's brand new side by side. Man was that fun! I told Devin to buy one so now the 4-wheeler is for sale!

Nothing fun coming up in the future besides more trips to Utah for seven peaks next weekend and more water skiing and the side by side I'm sure. Hope everyones summer is way more eventful than ours thus far! Happy 4th!!

Shellie is WALKING!!!! I turned around and she was walking towards me! Such a big girl!!
She had her Dr appt today and weighed in at almost 18 pounds and 29 inches long. Big girl! She did great with her shots and found out she had an ear infection. Hopefully the meds will clear up her forever long running nose! I love you shell belle!

Shells First Birthday!

Happy Birthday Shell Belles. Mommy and Daddy Love You So Much and It had been a wonderful Year!!!
Tons of pictures!

A few updates on Shellie.....She took her first official steps yesterday and can now climb up and down the stairs. She loves to eat food and take naps. She does not handle cow's milk well yet. Oh well. She loves her brother VERY much and likes ALL his toys! She loves to give everyone hugs and screech really loud happy like. It hurts your ears. She's beautiful and perfect. Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Emry is loving school and is talking and learning SOOOO much. He comes home very very dirty! He is officially potty trained! Yea for no more diapers! He loves his sister and loves to pick on and share with her. He's so happy at the end of the day to see her and play with her.

Devin and I are still working like crazy but at least we have beautiful weather to do it in. We miss our family and are excited for the fun summer ahead! In 2 weeks we fly to Washington to visit my family for the weekend at my dad's cabin. We're very excited. Health wise the family is doing much better. We're down to running noses but that is much better than hospital stays and cancer!!! YA BABY!!!

We love you all! Happy Mother's day to all my beautiful friends and especially my Mommy and Sister!

Shellie's 9 months old.

baby photo shoot......I had only 3 pictures in who knows how long so I took a few so I'd at least have some

Is this not the most cutest thing ever! She looks like she's putting a curse on you but she's so happy!

Happy Family
Shellie started to officially crawl today! She's been doing a fantastic bear(military) crawl for a couple weeks now. I was thinking this morning about how sure I was that she'd be crawling by the time we go on vacation. But she wasn't yet and how sad I would be to get a call from grandma next week that she finally did her first crawl....but she did it today!
She also started taking steps last week while we're holding her hands. She wouldn't do anything before but now picks up her legs and steps.....yay more progress! She loves to stand up. If you try and make her sit down, she stiffs her legs and straight falls back and cries. It's funny so until she decides she's tired the girl will stand.

Another exciting note is she finally gained weight!!! She is now finally 16.3 pounds!!!! She lost a couple pounds when she was sick and finally gained more. She also finally grew in length and is now 27 inches long. That was a worry for the Dr, if she hadn't grown yet she was gonna have to go to primary for tests. BUT YAY NO TESTS!!!

Her hair is starting to get more and more crazy. It's super long on top and is in her eyes all the time so I have to sweep it across her forehead. My kids always look like old men! Emry had bald spot on top and long around the head. Too funny.

She is such a happy baby now and still had the worst, most highest pitch teradactyl scream you've ever heard. It hurts and im sure she'll break some glass soon! She still doesn't sleep as good as Ems but at least she sleeps now! she loves food and today started to try gold fish. She loved them and didn't choke. She ALMOST has a tooth cutting. I can feel a huge bump but nothing sharp yet so any day on that one. Good thing I'll probably have to stop nursing this next week. Don't think I want to spend the week pumping while we're in Vegas....

She loves cords. No matter what you do she will find cord to yank on and get in her mouth. Its funny but really annoying. I have built a living room fort barricade to keep her in and away from Emry's crumbs and mess and scary dangers like computers.

She loves her daddy so much and asks for him all day long. She gets so happy when he comes home. She likes to hit him in the face to get his nose. It's cute. If she's hungry though, no one will do till mommy gets her. She's very opinionated and lets you know exactly what she wants. She'll scream till she gets more of the food she wants. Very demanding. She loves people and will give anyone smiles, if she likes them.

She loves to keep mom running around, changing her direction away from getting into trouble or brother trampling her. She is trying to pull herself up on things and has started to choose who she wants, crawls to the feet and asks for ups or follows you wherever you go and crys when she can't see you anymore.

I love you baby girl, and I miss when you were a baby, but love that you're growing up into a beautiful personality.
